🇦🇺Aussies In France #MarkAnning After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, French scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 200 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 150 years ago. Not to be outdone by the French, in the weeks that followed, a British archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, a story published in the London Times: "British archaeologists, finding traces of 250-year-old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network 50 years earlier than the French". One week later, Australia's Northern Territory Times, reported the following: "After digging as deep as 30 feet in his backyard in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory, aboriginal Billi Bunji, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely fuck-all. Billi has therefore concluded that 250 years ago, Australia had already gone wireless..." Makes me feel bloody proud to be Australian!

Found these little fellas on the edge of a clay pan this morning. Their mum shot off into the grass. Wasn’t a plover , maybe something smaller like a stilt???

This is a great way of saying , do the basics well!!
The most important lesson Warren Gatland learnt from Ireland’s Paul O’Connell 👇 🗣”Let’s be the best at everything that requires no talent. There is lots of things in the game that require no talent. Getting up off the ground quickly, chasing a kick, getting back on defence. That doesn’t require talent it just requires effort.”

Last Cockys gate to go , probably hasn’t been opened since the 60s. Just on the Wallabies, poor buggers, they are the victims of a long foreseen train crash. The code in this country has a great future , it needs to resource the grass roots to make the future trunks of success .
