No child should have to live in fear of missile attacks.
Today I met Ukrainian children and families affected by Russia's brutal aggression.
Their courage is extraordinary. The UK's support for Ukraine remains unwavering.

AUD 58,000 was raised at a special fundraising dinner hosted by the UK Consulate General in Sydney to support Ukrainians whose lives have been devastated by Russia’s war of aggression. 🇬🇧🇦🇺🇺🇦
A powerful show of solidarity and support. 👇
I am pleased to share the results of a special fundraising dinner hosted by the UK Consulate General in Sydney, which we organised jointly with Acting UK High Commissioner Dr @BrianJJonesUK and our Honorary Consul Kateryna Argyrou.
Together, we raised AUD 58,000 to support Ukrainians whose lives have been devastated by Russia’s war.
AUD 33,000 will support the @ZelenskaUA Foundation, helping provide vital assistance to Ukrainian children and families. AUD 25,000 will go towards Future Ukraine’s prosthetics programme, helping Ukrainians who have lost limbs regain mobility, independence and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
This is what solidarity looks like in practice — turning generosity into tangible support for people who need it most.
We were pleased to have a select group of business people, members of the consular corp, NSW Parliament Speaker Hon @GregPiperMP and NSW Attorney General @michaeldaleyMP and the Ukrainian military officer Victoria Savkiv.
My sincere thanks to all our generous donors, and special thanks to UK Deputy Consul General @EdKitt for his leadership in organising such a wonderful and impactful evening.

The UK's position on the Falkland Islands is unwavering.
The Islands are British and will remain so because that is the overwhelming position of the Islanders.
Their right of self-determination is paramount, grounded in international law and we will resolutely uphold it.

Today we summoned the Russian Ambassador to revoke the accreditation of a Russian diplomat, responding to the unjustified expulsion of a British diplomat and hostile public targeting of our staff.
We will not tolerate intimidation and will respond accordingly.
