Dear @GrammarGirl, I can’t figure out how to get the transcript to episode 828 about starting a sentence with a coordinating conjunction and proving to a friend that his editor was wrong! [email protected] if that helps!
An excellent story about how trans teens are and should be cared for by @emilybazelon nytimes.com/2022/06/15/magaz…

Russian history in two badges. I got the red badge in 1990 the day the first Moscow McDonald’s opened ( I queued 3 hrs to get in). The other badge I got today when the Russian replacement for McDonald’s opened. McDonald’s quit Russia in protest at Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
A new @GrammarGirl fan, listening start to end and from newest back. A word nerd, I’ve learned a lot! But I’m wondering why so many missing episodes in the beginning!
You go, Mariana!!
I got to visit the @labreatarpits! My colleagues were absolutely amazing, they let me see everything and even play with the tar! In exchange they asked me to pick my brain and I was like, pick away! Relationships with collections folks are the best!

Thanks, Advait! And I love how we found the connection in our friend Frank!

The @nhregister is working on a major project about the @yalepeabody renovation. Here’s a glimpse of what’s going on.
I have the BEST JOB IN THE WORLD. At @yalepeabody today we're working with @ResearchCasting to find the perfect poses for the skeletons we'll have on exhibit. The process is wonderful, we talk anatomy, visitor experience, and a lot of paleontology. No spoilers, tho!

We have a winner! TikTok, Instagram and Twitter have spoken: here's the German owl pigeon, who's going to get treatment first. Get ready!

I love her tweets!
Morning staff meeting with the @yalepeabody specimens! I like to ask them about the issues they come with, because I know some of them like to run around and then they get hurt

I’m looking for people who feel the pandemic has affected them long term: depression, fear of travel or crowds, cracked teeth, ulcers, kids’ problems, etc. DM me or email [email protected]. Thanks!
If you can help my colleague, we’d appreciate it.
I'm working on a story for @nhregister about masks being optional for East Haven students beginning March 1 and would love to hear from parents/teachers/students (with parental permission) with their thoughts on the change. Please DM/email me at [email protected]

I am SO EXCITED to get to work on this Fantail pigeon from @yalepeabody! I'll be grooming its feathers and I just can't wait! Did you know that this breed has way more tail feathers than other pigeons?
From the Peabody’s conservator!
Happy #ValentinesDay!
Celebrate with me and my favorite valentine!

People seem gutted when the word takes 5 or 6 goes to get, jubilant if it’s 2. But the long game means you had to show deductive skill and graft; 2 just means you had some luck. You should be prouder of a 5! Forget what you think you know!! Love, your Wordle cheerleader.

We’re proud to have the multi-talented @MarianaDGiacomo on the team for the #YalePeabodyRenovation.
Thanks to @EdStannardNHR for capturing how integral (and often invisible) her work is to the visitor’s experience in our new galleries:

I listen to podcasts at between 1.2 and 1.5x, so I really want to believe this.
On the other hand, I worry these tests of recall don't measure thinking. The most important thing when reading a book or listening to a show is having your own ideas and associations.
