Talking to @KyleNiemis from @quizizz yesterday on the @PowerEDUup podcast last night reminded me of the great feedback, engagement and quality instructional value of the tool. Had to use the mastery peak feature to cover metric conversions review this morning. @KenEhrmann #edtech – at Pennsylvania, USA
Top notch move from @AmberPearDeck after an awesome conversation on the @PowerEDUup podcast. Hopefully this leads to @KenEhrmann also retiring a “previous” T-shirt! – at Lancaster, PA
Now that another great #Stemcampedu is wrapped up, we can get back to our regularly scheduled summer programming.

Excited for #STEMCampEDU to get started at @FluxSpace_io
I needed this week (and a summer off frankly) to finally “get it”.
Reminder to Myself- As we round the bend of summer remember this: striving for a work/life balance is not a lack of care for kids and education.
It is allowed.
This may just be a PSA for myself to look at, or helpful for others.
Teaching alone is a career, not a dead end. While other careers strive for promotion, it is hard to see our identity outside of teaching when there is no logical (or necessary) “next steps”.
I never got into teaching for the summers off, frankly feeling slightly shameful to have the time. For the majority of my summers, I have found a way to use it for true PD and connection with educators and opportunities.
This weekend is the perfect reminder of why being a classroom teacher can be “enough”.
I have pride in the fact that my wife & I work at the same district, w/ identical schedules.
I have often felt pressure to BE MORE -> FOR MORE (Ss/Ts).
I’m shifting guilt towards grateful.
