Are books and reading returning again?
In America, Harvard’s popular classes now involve real books. Bookshops seem busier too.
In Arabia, here is the largest reading competition in the world with 40 million students participating:

The BBC seems to think the norm for Islam is violence and terrorism. Why else would they label an award-winning Muslim cleric famed for his outspoken opposition to violent extremism and advocacy of Muslim–Christian coexistence, as ‘controversial’?
This also explains why they refused to label the terrorist group Hamas as ‘terrorists’. They think terror is the natural state of affairs for Muslims and indulge it so as to avoid causing offence.
There are plenty of Muslim thinkers, activists and organisations who would disagree. Perhaps the BBC could tiptoe outside of its bubble and meet a few.

I am absolutely disgusted by those who say letting Christians live in the Middle East is a form of “tolerance”. You tolerate undesirable things. Christians ARE the Middle East. They are Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon and everywhere else. Christians are us.

🚨 A senior Hamas official resorts to blatant evasion, showing no willingness to condemn the Houthi terrorist attacks on civilian airports in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, recasting these attacks on civilians as a dispute to be resolved through dialogue.
— The Houthis, Hamas, Hizballah and other groups, regardless of their ideological differences, share terrorist methods, glorifying violence and treating civilian lives as expendable, with Iran’s 🇮🇷 full support.
