⏱️ FULL-TIME: City 2️⃣ @NFFC 2️⃣ (2-4 Pens)
Heartbreak for the Grecians on penalties. It was an incredible performance from City who played for 40+ minutes with ten men and pushed a team third in the Premier League to the limit!
A performance to be proud of 👏

Me on the British Marxist Historians and how they transformed our understanding of history and the role of the working class in shaping it ✊️✊️
Though Britain’s Communist movement never took power, its leading lights – like E. P. Thompson and Eric Hobsbawm – sparked a revolution in understanding the role of working people in making history.

It's thirty years since radical East End GP and anti racist activist Dr David Widgery died. His 1992 book Other Lives, gave voice to those marginalised by the Docklands regeneration process. Friends at @CareForStAnnes have organised this free event to remember David and his work.
