You see this thing Peter Obi does, going into the hinterlands to hold town hall meetings? He actually did the same thing when he was Governor of Anambra State. And I’m not talking about campaign visits.
Every year, he visited towns across the state, at least one in every LGA, to hear directly from the people. He continued doing this even after winning his second term.
His wife, Margaret Obi, did the same with Anambra women. She visited all 177 towns in the state, holding town hall meetings to hear their concerns and understand their challenges. This had nothing to do with election campaigns.
I know this because my late Mum was the then Secretary of Ekwulobia Women Council (EWC). As a matter of fact, I was the one doing most of the secretarial work. I practically doubled as the de facto secretary of both EWC and Ụmụada Ekwulọbịa because the then President of Ụmụada Ekwulọbịa, Mrs. Ngozi Obeke, who was a close friend of my Mum, wouldn’t let me rest with writing letters and handling other correspondence. 😂
I actually enjoyed doing it back then.
Peter Obi was the same yesterday as he is today.
Peter Obi will not stop at the airport to address you people, talk about how there is no electricity at the airport, and then jet back to Abuja within ten minutes of addressing you.
Do you see how he is visiting all the states in Nigeria? This is a sign of a committed leader who holds the interests of Nigerians to heart and will not turn the UK and France into his second home.
Remember when Tinubu visited Jos following the deadly attacks in Plateau State? He met community representatives near the airport and reportedly told them, “You have no light here, I'll fly out in ten minutes.”
Nigerians, the ball is in your court.
Will you join the boat of prosperity and fight for your country's freedom from the hands of politicians who don't think you're worth their time, or will you fold your hands and endure more years of bad leadership under the APC?

PO IN THE CREEK:
True to the promise we made to the Nigerian people, we are resolved to carry the vision of a new and better Nigeria to every nook and cranny of our land.
Today, that commitment found an expression as the Presidential Candidate of our party, H.E. Peter Obi, and our National Leader, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, journeyed beyond the Forcados River into the creeks of the Niger Delta, taking our message of HOPE directly to our brothers and sisters who have too often lived at the margins of national attention.

Aba has gas.
Abia has gas.
Yet the lights keep going out.
Why?
Because the turbines at Geometric Power keep running short of gas, a problem that has been documented repeatedly.
For decades, associated gas has been flared across the Niger Delta, including in Abia. Resources that could have powered homes and industries were burned into the sky instead.
The tragedy is not the absence of gas. It is the long gap between what exists underground and what actually reaches the people.
Private efforts (Geometric + Heirs Energies) and the state’s push for local gas utilization are trying to close that gap.
Until the gas flows reliably instead of being flared or interrupted, the lights will keep going out.
The resources are there.
The will must finally match them.

Alex, get ready to take a ministerial position.
If you could pull this much weight as an individual, I can only imagine what you can achieve with government backing.
Nigeria must work in our lifetime, with people like you occupying key positions.
Ọ ga eme!
The team from Rome has arrived in Nigeria to experience firsthand the incredible talent we have here.
We made the entire continent proud at the last Olympiad Finals, and the world is beginning to take notice.
This is their first visit to Africa, and they absolutely love the energy and enthusiasm of our people.
However, one of their first observations was quite troubling: the unpleasant smells, the dirty environment, the heavily polluted and dangerous waterways, and the general lack of orderliness.
These are things we must confront as a society. Our human potential is extraordinary, but our environment must reflect that greatness.
The world is beginning to recognize our efforts, and this is only the beginning.
We are laying the foundation for something extraordinary for the next generation.

Talk to who?!
We are done talking!!!!
What makes anyone think that we are also not taking action?!!!!
We are prepared for this election!
It is our last chance and we are fighting for our lives here!
We are already underground waiting for them to go lower!!!
On Election Day, it is for the people of Nigeria to come out enmasse! We are already READY!!!!!!
Affliction shall not rise a second time!!!!!
There’s something Seun said yesterday that really got me thinking until today. He said, “Election is usually not rigged on Election Day… the rigging of the elections began a few months before the election began. If you don’t take action and speak up now!! Forget it.” ~ Seun.
We all need to go harder on INEC! Anything we allow now stands forever!
