No that’s not it. AI writing is not good writing at all. Much less “too good.” It’s neat, yes. Perfectly spelled and punctuated. This writing itself is atrociously bad, though. Bland and dull and utterly devoid of style or personality. But it’s bad in a bizarre, uncanny way. Bad but perfectly coherent. Whereas bad human writing is generally bad because it’s not coherent. Maybe that’s the thing that makes AI slop so easy to spot. It is coherently shitty. A weird combination.

Put simply, AI writing is generally "too good". It's the writing of a 125+ IQ. That's the top 5% of humans. No mistakes, no grammatical errors, no typos, effusive vocabulary. Once AI begins immitating human errors and bad phraseology, it'll be harder to spot.

Came across this fascinating forum post where a guy is taking the 4.0 V6 out of a 2007 Mustang and replacing it with... Another V6, but the 3.7 out of a 2012 Basically he put all the 2012 wiring into the 2007 and discovered every little change they made in the 2010 facelift

Ultimately it was the harmonic balancer that broke at crank, took out the timing chain drive sprocket and broke a few valves, poked holes in the pistons, etc. etc. So decision was made to buy her a different car. I would take over the 07. My current daily is a Lightning and gets 14-16 mpg and runs 93 octane so I wanted to make the 07 my daily but a 4.0 was not going to do. I found a 2012 V6 6 speed car that was wrecked but drivable for $1300 so I bought it. The swap should be a challenge but a fun driver with decent power and mpg. I may need some help along the way with some questions. Thanks for looking"

I have no idea why renaming AI is so bizarrely important to Trump. Nobody cares about the name he chose. Nobody is using it or will use it. And it’s not even technically accurate because “super intelligence” already had an agreed upon, widely adopted definition. This is the weirdest political hill to die on. It gains you nothing. Not a single ordinary American in the country, anywhere, cares deeply about making sure people say “SI” instead of “AI.” We are days away from a major election and this bullshit is the focus? Just baffling.
