There is a 3% tax that goes to protocol owned shares (strengthening the protocol). That's a 25% discount on the 4% sell tax if you were to dump on the market.

Start small, and as the protocol owned shares continue to grow, you will be able to add to your position in larger chunks. The protocol owned position will only grow as tax revenue is collected, users enter/exit the pool, and yield is auto compounded.

If the protocol owns more shares than stakers, like the image below, than stakers are earning MORE yield than they would if they were providing liquidity directly on Uniswap with the exact same position. This can go negative if there are more stakers than protocol owned stakes. That doesn't mean you lose money. It means, you earn less yield than if you were to provide liquidity directly on Uniswap. With little to no IL, there is little to no risk on losing money in these positions. Just more or less yield than uniswap, but always yield.
