Phiomia serridens, an extinct elephantiform from some, 37-30 million years ago. Was neat to do a mammal for a change, although id like to revisit this one in the future, especially as I want to create a library of enviromental assets to use for more complex scenes.

In a world in which some are trying to pass generative AI off as genuine 3D/CGI art (especially in the dinosaur & palaeoart spheres), I feel that being more transparent about the process is valuable. So, here's a look at some of the individual passes that went into the composite.
The bad news is that I have come to the unfortunate realization that I'm only able to find recons of Irritator's skull, though they are very nice. The good(?) news is that the taxa is certainly living up to its name...I'll figure this out when I wake up.
Well, in light of some good news on a broader scale finally poking its way onto my timeline, the next animal has now changed. Very distinct Spinosaur coming to a post in front of you...soon. Next few days soon, that is.
