Derbyshire firefighters have now left the scene of the derelict building fire on Heanor Road in Ilkeston.
Final crews left at 15:08 hours and Heanor Road has now re-opened.
The joint police and fire investigation is ongoing.
No further information is available.

Emergency services remain at the scene of a derelict building fire on Heanor Road, Ilkeston with operations continuing throughout the day.
Heanor Road is closed and local diversions are in place. Schools, businesses and other buildings are unaffected.

The Download Festival site is within a flight restricted zone. Anyone caught flying a drone without permission will be prosecuted.
This applies: 5am Wednesday 10 June until 11pm on Monday 15 June 2026.
Specially trained Counter Drone Officers will be deployed to the event.

Partners from the Fire Operations Group (FOG) are currently dealing with a wildfire off Snake Pass in the Peak District.
We received the call at 20:58 hours on30 April. The fire is likely to be causing a smoke plume in & around the Glossop area.
