A big thank you to Nina Sperring TEP and Helen Tonks MBE for talking to BBC Breakfast today about findings from STEP's Barometer report, which show how a lack of estate planning and communication within families is fuelling a significant rise in inheritance disputes, with blended families at most risk of conflict.

As part our work to raise STEP's profile, and the value of talking to a TEP, we worked with the Radio 4's Moneybox team, who ran a story today about some of the findings from STEP's Barometer report.
The findings show how a lack of estate planning and communication within families is fuelling a significant rise in inheritance disputes, with blended families at most risk of conflict.
A huge thank you to Helen Tonks MBE for sharing her story, about how the near-death of her husband proved a wake-up call for her family's approach to wills and more open discussion.
A big thank you also to Nina Sperring TEP for explaining how having open conversations, and getting expert advice from a TEP is the best way to prevent disputes.
👉 Once today's programme is available to listen again, you can hear the story at the start of the programme: bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002wj1…
