Very proud to have written another piece for
@guardian this week. Give it a read if you're interested in Microsoft 'Muse' or AI gaming oblivion theguardian.com/games/2025/m…
#journorequest Looking for comment for a B2B technology publication on the use of AI within the video games/gaming industry - interested in speaking with developers, industry experts and knowledgable persons - email me on [email protected]
So this is super surreal for me. I've just been sent a recording of a local radio show in Washington DC -@EITMonline - (who's host bizarrely happens to also be called Elliot) from a couple weeks back, talking all about my WoW article in the Guardian. Life is crazy sometimes 😂
Are you an editor (or know one) that needs help with news shifts, reviews, guides, features or anything else? I'm a freelancer with over a decade of experience! Give me a message on [email protected] or drop me a DM - would love to help you out.
I'm actively looking for work, so retweets appreciated - I freelance in the gaming, tech and B2B markets! Portfolio: elgardner4.wixsite.com/websi…
I remember this game! we borrowed it from a mate when I was way too young to appreciate how amazing some of the effects were
And you can read the full piece with additional context on the website 😇 A million thank-yous to @kezamacdonald for the amazing opportunity theguardian.com/games/2024/n…
Now that I'm back after a week travelling I finally have time to take this photo! I will never stop harping on about how proud I am to have this published in the Guardian. Thanks to everyone who helped get it there, especially to @TheWindstalker for sharing your story!

Reminder to anyone in my network who's bored browsing twitter on a Friday-I'm currently full time freelance, and on the hunt for any and all work! I'm a 10-year content veteran experienced with news, guides, features, reviews, rolling coverage, etc! Would love to hear from you
My Fitbit sent me an alert last night asking why my heartrate was so high at rest, but there was no option for 'the impending collapse of Western society'
Playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard has had me thinking 'damn, I really should've replayed Inquisition first' so much... that I just redownloaded DA:I. Feels weird to put a playthrough of a new game on hold for a ten year old one though. Still, might romance Solas for the ⭐️lore⭐️
So since this place is still a bit of a hellscape, I'm going to try and post a bit more often on BlueSky. My very creative username over there is @elliotlgardner.bsky.social - give me a follow
The 'Trump movie' was alright, but Sebastian Stan's performance in The Apprentice is fantastic. Subtle yet accurate. The character's slow decent into a chariacture of itself is magnificent
Cost of living is utterly insane, but part of why it feels SO rough right now is because we're paying so much money but nothing seems to work. I understand people are terrified and angry at the prospect of taxes rising, but if stuff starts WORKING again, then surely that's a fix?
I understand that its going to take a while for changes to kick in and for us to see the benefit, but the media atm is acting like this government has caused all the issues the last one did, when they're actually so far trying to work out how to pay for the fixes
