Printers melt everything at 200°C. Water in our filament cools it inside. 8 US patents combined (String Cubed, Timeplast). Not affiliated w/ Elon Musk.

3D printers melt everything they touch at 200°C, which kills proteins, enzymes, scents, and medicines. So we put water inside the filament. It boils off in the nozzle and cools the material from the inside. We've already printed soap that still lathers.

I’m Manuel Rendon, founder of Timeplast and String Cubed. I’ve spent more than a decade working on programmable materials, I’m named on 8 granted U.S. patents, and Nestlé Waters invested in my first company. Now I’m trying something unusual. I made one video specifically for @elonmusk about what I believe could be an early technological ancestor of the Star Trek replicator. I’m not asking anyone to believe me. Watch it. Judge it. If you finish it and think Elon should see it, help move it one person closer. ElonWatchThis.com

In an MMO, quest loot disappears when you log off. Singular City is a proposed test community where every quest ends in something real: a skill, a made object, a credential. It rests on one first-principles idea: using a string to make anything. elonwatchthis.com

1/ 3D printers run hot, around 200°C. That heat destroys most of what makes materials useful: proteins, enzymes, flavors, vitamins, antimicrobials. So printers make shapes, not function.

3/ Before claiming more, we test it. The entry panel is four compounds: vanillin, vitamin E, an antimicrobial (ε-poly-L-lysine) and an enzyme (amylase). Each has to pass a chemical identity check AND a function test, against pass/fail thresholds written down in advance.

4/ The assays are blind, and an outside lab confirms the results. If a compound fails, it fails in public.
