❗JUST ANNOUNCED❗
A major milestone for Elucid—and for the future we’re building in cardiovascular care. Read here: elucid.com/elucid-raises-55-…
We’re proud to announce the closing of an oversubscribed $55 million Series D financing, bringing Elucid’s total funding raised to approximately $185 million. The round includes new participation from a leading medtech company—our fourth publicly traded strategic investor—alongside new and existing investors.
Ultimately, this milestone is about what comes next.
As CEO Kelly Huang, PhD, shared: “Analogous to oncology’s shift from population-based, one-size treatment, Elucid is applying AI to integrate anatomy, biology, and physiology to bring personalized treatment to coronary artery disease management.”
We’re grateful to our investors, partners, customers, and the entire Elucid team for helping us reach this moment. There’s much more ahead!!

We’re honored to support the Imperial Vulnerable Plaque and Patient Meeting (VPM) for another year! VPM brings together some of the leading minds in atherosclerosis, cardiovascular imaging, and intervention for the kind of focused scientific exchange that makes this meeting so special.
This year’s conversations feel especially timely as the field continues to look beyond anatomy alone, and instead toward a deeper understanding of plaque biology, lesion-level risk, and increasingly personalized cardiovascular care.
CEO Kelly Huang, and Lead Scientific Advisor @amir_ahmadi__, will be joining the community in Portugal, and we’re looking forward to the ideas, debate, and collaboration ahead.
See you in beautiful Vilamoura! 🇵🇹

What separates meaningful healthcare AI from the hype?
For Elucid CEO Kelly Huang, it comes down to what AI enables physicians to understand, and whether that information can lead to a better-informed clinical decision.
In a new @AdvaMedUpdate \ Insight Series: AI & Digital Health interview (advamed.org/2026/08/27/the-i…), Kelly discusses why the next generation of cardiovascular AI needs to go beyond efficiency alone. He explores the evolution toward CCTA 3.0, where anatomy, plaque biology, and physiology come together at the lesion level; the importance of transparent, explainable and scientifically validated AI; and why directly understanding a patient’s disease could help enable more personalized cardiovascular care.
As Kelly puts it: “We can’t out-efficiency a diagnostic blind spot.”
Thank you to AdvaMed for the opportunity to share our perspective on where AI can make a meaningful difference in cardiovascular care.

“The lesion is where risk becomes an event.”
Individual plaques are where pathways of atherosclerosis progression, rupture, and erosion ultimately converge. By better characterizing risk at the lesion level, and then combining those insights to understand the patient as a whole, we can move toward more personalized risk assessment and, ultimately, more personalized therapy.
See the full symposium for the broader discussion on CCTA 3.0, plaque biology, physiology, workflow, and the future of personalized cardiovascular care. Excerpt featuring Dr. Michael Hadley, Northwell.

Elucid CEO Kelly Huang, PhD recently shared our vision for where cardiovascular imaging is headed next: CCTA 3.0. The core idea is simple: anatomy, plaque biology, and physiology should not be viewed in isolation. By integrating all three at the lesion level, physicians can gain a more complete understanding of disease and move toward more personalized treatment decisions.
Hear about the scientific foundation behind Elucid’s approach, from histology-based plaque characterization and BioIntegrated FFR-CT* to transparency, workflow, and the clinical research needed to advance lesion-level risk assessment.

Can two coronary lesions with the same degree of stenosis behave differently?
In this clip, @amir_ahmadi__ explains why coronary arteries can't simply be thought of as rigid pipes. Plaque composition, vessel remodeling, and the biological behavior of the vessel during maximal hyperemia all influence physiology, meaning lesions with similar anatomical narrowing may produce very different functional outcomes.
It's one reason why the future of #yesCCT lies in integrating plaque biology and lesion-level physiology, providing a deeper understanding of coronary artery disease and supporting more personalized clinical decision-making.

For years, cardiovascular risk assessment has often focused on individual measures such as stenosis, plaque composition, and physiology as if they were competing ways to understand disease. In our recent webinar hosted by @Heart_SCCT, @amir_ahmadi__ shares why that paradigm is changing. With today's advances in CCTA and AI, these previous competing metrics have become complementary components of a more complete understanding of coronary artery disease.
The future lies in integrating plaque biology, lesion-level physiology, and anatomy into a single comprehensive assessment, enabling physicians to move from lesion-level risk to patient-level impact and support more personalized clinical decision-making.
