The Score to Dead Man Walking is essential listening. Been doing that for 30 years… @eddievedder Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ry Cooder, David Robbins, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt
A rare one. Not sure I’ve ever seen this one pop up much, it was produced in the “post-bust” era of bootlegs. This one off addendum to The Bridges Boxset covers the Mamasan Demo, a transfer of the Off Ramp VHS recording and a couple of Ten sessions outtakes.
A truly under the radar, iykyk, 1993 show gets its flowers. Great work by young (but he’s older than that now) Tim in the producer chair. @liveon4legspod youtu.be/QdiWtSF---s?is=gKLS…
Great time as always hanging with the pod, and what an outstanding show to help steer the conversation on. 1998 is replete with great recordings made with mixes of ALD venue mono recordings tied with excellent audience tapes. youtu.be/FSid27jEZtA?is=7CY4…
Great setlist choice @PearlJam with guest @BillyStrings, studio version off Mirrorball 2025 NYA reissue.
1. It’s Friday and it’s October 2nd and it’s been 30 years. I really should have had my thinking cap on and fully realized that this show was plausible to get to. Alas…
4. This is one my favorites and I’ve cycled through many of my boots over the years, moving on from some due to better mixes done by fans, or the band, but this one is a keeper. It encapsulates everything that stood out for the tour, and had a similar vibe to 9.28.96
3. This is notably not a soundboard, but it does sound absolutely fantastic. It was recorded mono via an in monitor ALD. Some of the best Jack Irons drumming you are going to hear, the mix leans into it.
1. Anniversary dates of one of the all time @PearlJam illicit boots (Sorry Kelly Curtis, we had to get our fix somehow) - In Rock We Trust, the 1994 October 1st & 2nd Bridge School Benefit shows. Let’s talk shop…
5. Don’t sleep on the hilarious sub-header text on the front cover which reads: “The Secret Acoustic Shows in San Francisco…”. They were most definitely not secret.
