Just wrapped up Halloween at our house and had two take-aways from this evening. First, what's up with all the mom's dressing so slutty? Good grief. Some were in Halloween "costumes" and others...I'm guessing it's a normal evening for them. Secondly, kids are kids, of course, and the little ones barely utter a word, which is understandable. But some of the older ones had no bucket, bag or pillowcase for the candy. They just hold out their hands and then have the nerve to ask for more or different candy. This is different than in the past.

Here's a sample of this mornings political texts. I absolutely adore the ones that sort of threaten you. Are these really successful? And btw, I doubt Trump has ever bowed his head in prayer.

What does everyone think about all the rumors about a potential pending disaster and how governments are urging people to prepare for whatever for up to six months? I had a friend call me tonight worried about what she was hearing (thanks, Glen Beck).

I did the hardest thing I've ever had to do today and that's place my 94 yr old Dad in a nursing home. It's been a rough day.

The GOP is really grasping g onto the transgender issue this election. I've seen it in Florida and now in MO. They've trotted out the NY values tag line too. Guess they can't run in accomplishments so they turn to the old scare factor tactics.

Anybody who starts a post with...."you must be a retard if..." immediately loses me interest.

Looks like I will be moving my Dad into a nursing home very soon. Anyone with any experience with signing all the nursing home docs and what I should avoid signing. Don't want to give them authorization to do some stuff or be responsible for payments, etc. Any advice is MUCH appreciated!

Well, our votes are in the bank. No changing our minds now. Really mixed it up, too. Stuck to the plan. Left some blanks, wrote in one name, and voted some yes, some no's. A political pollster would hate me for skewing the numbers. A true Independent.

Dear Win-Red (or any other GOP fundraising org), We are tired of your spam emails and texts. Much like mailers, we don't respond to them. In fact, it has the opposite effect. We toss them in the trash...along with your candidate begging for money. I won't vote for them. Why on earth would I send a contribution to some random candidate in Podunk wherever? Stop it. Stop=end.

I dislike misinformation regardless of which party engages in it. It's not hard to tell the truth...not some version of the truth....not "your truth"....but THE truth. On top of that, I'm also tired of whataboutism. Aren't the rest of you?

Could someone tell Michelle Tafoya that none of us are interested in donating to her race and to stop texting us. I don't live in your state!
