By order of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev @TokayevKZ September 25, 2026, has been declared a National Day of Mourning in Kazakhstan following the deaths of servicemen who lost their lives in the line of duty in the Mangystau Region.

🇰🇿 President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomes the statement by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian (@DrPezeshkian) announcing the decision of the Interim Leadership Council to refrain from attacks on neighboring states. The President of #Kazakhstan considers this decision an important step toward easing tensions in the #MiddleEast.

The President of Kazakhstan sent personal messages to the leaders of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait, expressing his sincere support and solidarity with the peoples of those countries during this challenging period. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev strongly condemned all military actions aimed at undermining the sovereignty and security of states that are friendly and brotherly to Kazakhstan. “Our country consistently advocates resolving all complex international issues and armed conflicts exclusively through diplomatic means,” the Kazakh leader stated in his messages. The Head of State also affirmed that Kazakhstan stands ready to provide any possible assistance to the brotherly Arab nations and expressed hope for the continuation of regular working contacts with their senior leadership.

🇰🇿🇺🇸 President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev (@TokayevKZ) sent a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump (@realDonaldTrump), expressing sincere appreciation for the invitation to participate in the Central Asia–United States Summit to be held in Washington on November 6. President Tokayev regarded the initiative of the American leader as both timely and important. The Head of State also noted that he shares the key principles of President Trump’s domestic and foreign policy, in particular the advocacy of traditional values based on common sense, as well as dedication to safeguarding peace and security.
