Wishing all of our Muslim families a happy and peaceful Eid al Adha. Eid Mubarak! #EidAlAdha2023

Thank you @dc_litchfield. They really were inspired. They loved the book @mossmontmomery 🐢📚

On World Book day, the children in Year 6 looked at the book Space Tortoise 🐢 They then had great fun drawing their own Space Tortoises! @dc_litchfield what do you think of them? #WorldBookDay2023 #DavidLitchfield #BedtimeStories

The pleasure was ours. A great session for our children. 👏🏼👏🏼

Emerson Valley are celebrating #SaferInternetDay today. We are kickstarting the day with a whole school assembly! Find out how you also can get involved at saferinternetday.org.uk @UK_SIC

A huge thank you to Laura & Florie from @TheParksTrust for delivering an assembly on Water Safety to all of our children this morning. 💧It was very informative & gave our children tips on how to stay safe. #watersafety #TheParksTrust

EVS are celebrating Children's Mental Health Week this week. They will have an assembly on Wednesday & will be completing a lesson in class! #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🎄🤶🏼🎅🏼 Happy 1st December! How gorgeous does our tree look in our reception area?🎄

Happy St. Andrew's Day! 💙

Thank you to the wonderful Caroline from @AnglianWater for providing such an engaging, informative session for our Year 6 children today on Water Sustainability. We all learned ways to save more water (including the adults!) Thank you for the booklets & pencils too!💧💧💧

Year 6 had a fantastic day @HoldenbyHouse on Thursday & Friday of last week. They were immersed into life as a Victorian and thoroughly enjoyed the experienced. Thank you @HoldenbyHouse 😊

We are so impressed with the writing of our Year 6 children. Last week, they produced a suspense narrative based on the short film clip ‘Alma’. Here are a few examples of their opening paragraphs. They are fantastic and we couldn’t be prouder 👏🌟📝 @LiteracyShed #Alma #Suspense

We had such a busy week at EVS last week! On Wednesday, Year 3 had a visitor in for the day to teach the children all about the Stone Age. As part of the day the children had the opportunity to handle a range of Stone Age artefacts. They had a great day! #StoneAge #History

Our School Council took over one of our assemblies this week and they did a fantastic job. Three of our superstars spoke fluently and showed amazing presentation skills when speaking in front of the whole school about our chosen charity PWSA. We are so proud of you.😃

We are raising money for Children in Need today! Children can come to school wearing their own clothes for a small donation! Don’t forget our Bake Sale takes place after school too! 🧁🍰 #ChildrenInNeed2022

Day 3 of our anti-bullying week included what forms bullying could happen in and the impact it could have. We also love to use our IT resources to engage our children in their learning. #antibullyingweek2022 #reachout 📱

Our Junior Road Safety Officers have been trained and are already outside our school at the end of the day, handing leaflets out and challenging unsafe parking with the help of our Learning Mentors. Please help them to keep our streets outside our school safe.

6NB's Odd Socks from yesterday! Well done 6NB! 👏👏 #AntiBullyingWeek #OddSocks #ReachOut

Our Anti-bullying activities have started today and we are unpicking what bullying is so we can recognise it #antibullyingweek2022 #ReachOut
