A vivid childhood memory: one winter evening in the early 90s, my family stopped in for dinner. As we waited for the food to arrive, I went to look at all the baseball cards up front and I felt a tap on my shoulder and got a "hey kid" from Bobby V himself.

On this day in 2017 I closed the original Bobby Valentine s Sports Gallery Cafe after 38 years of great memories. Thanks too all who helped make the good times roll.

The EPA made a rare move under the Clean Water Act effectively vetoing the Pebble Mine near Bristol Bay, AK. It's 1500 miles away, but this is big news for many in the Puget Sound region. @KNKXBellamy joined @EmilMoffatt on ATC to explain. knkx.org/2023-01-31/epa-veto…

Patrick Haggerty is a true loss. I talked to him in February, and he shared a moving story about one of his songs and the new meaning its taken on in the 50 years he's played it. But that was only about 10 minutes of a nearly 5 hour conversation...
