Now published in @MethodsEcolEvol, a practical how-to guide to running CTmax experiments. Should be worth a read if you do or plan to do CTmax experiments. Includes a fillable table (inspired by @shaunkillen) for reporting your the details of your work.

Now published open access in @cjfas. This one is for you nerds who like swim tunnel respirometry and accelerometer tags.
Led by @TrentUResearch MSc student @ErinRitchiee, work done at CCIW with @sci_angler from 2021-23.
Thanks to @LampreyControl for funding.

Excited to share our new paper in @Ecology_Letters, first-authored by my PhD student @Sweat_Saltwater!
It's a big meta-analysis on the effects of temperature on fertility in aquatic animals with lots of interesting (and surprising) results 🐟🐠🦐🪼🦀🐢🪸

Our #SpotlightZebrafish this week is on Dr. Robin Leeuwis (@LeeuwisRobin), a #postdoc in the @FredrikJutfelt Fish Ecophysiology Lab @NTNUnorway. She studies various impacts of climate change on the physiology of fishes. Robin uses artificial selection in #zebrafish to answer lingering questions about the evolution of traits related to thermal plasticity and performance. Robin was recently awarded the Irene Manton Poster Prize at the #SEBConference (pictured below).
While her zebrafish work is ongoing, she has previously published on the effects of climate change on sablefish (sciencedirect.com/science/ar…) and has co-written a book chapter on climate change, in general (sciencedirect.com/science/ar…). For more on Dr. Leeuwis, please visit her personal website at ntnu.edu/employees/robin.lee….
