what strikes me about the Patient Zero photoshoots compared to TLOAS is how bared down they are compared to TLOAS’s highly editorial concepts. no obvious backgrounds, simple clothing, neutral makeup/hair. they honestly remind me more of actor headshots than album art.

when i moved away from detroit i was really distraught that no chinese restaurant had almond chicken. many people questioned the legitimacy of the dish, having never heard of it. eventually it occurred to me that it might’ve been a local specialty.

i spent a lot of this movie being like woowww her coats are so cute, very classy and muted. so for her to leave the wedding in this orange jacket that’s the color of a prison jumpsuit, it’s like she’s now publicly and visibly branded for her wrongdoing. give this movie an oscar
