Slowly catching up after a very intense few days envisioning decolonial feminist futures for gender equality & health equity.
Very appreciative for the time & energy given by our 30 participants who travelled from 14 countries to embark on a journey of collective visioning
Great conversation happening here @UNU_IIGH on enabling environments for gender equality in health - with a Futures orientation to 2050.
Superb facilitation by @EmmaRhule on a challenging set of topics.
I hope that this wonderfully diverse group can land it constructively.
Well, last week was a busy one! In amongst a three-day meeting that emphasised the importance of co-creating narratives of our future, @t_nassiri & I had this piece published on global health storytelling in @LancetGH.

Decolonisation is not merely about creating more seats at the table, but about creating new tables entirely. It requires a shift from inclusivity to pluralism - which is exactly what @EmmaRhule and I call for in our new @LancetGH correspondence.
