Laurence, EmperorsHobbyist

I'm still posting here for now, but there's lots of great hobbyists on a certain blue place too. My details below, love to see you there.

I picked up the Character Encyclopedia earlier this year. Couldn't resist a few small modifications to remove the Ultramarine symbols and make Titus into (yet another!) lieutenant for my Salamanders #warhammercommunity #paintingwarhammer

Salamanders Early Great Crusade Squad. There's an old Forgeworld alternative Salamander scheme, of how the then unnamed XVIII legion first looked. And a note they were armed with Volkites. Couldn't resist painting up a squad inspired by the colour scheme #WarhammerCommunity

Since Warhammer Community has previewed the long rumoured Primaris Vanguard Veterans today, felt like a good time for a retro post. These are the original all metal Vanguard Veterans. They were later succeeded by a plastic multi part kit #warhammercommunity #paintingwarhammer

Painting my Bretonnian Foot Knights has taken an unexpectedly #marchformacragge twist... #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

Finally finished my first squad from the Saturnine box, this unit of Salamander veterans with all sorts of Disintegrators. First finished models of the year too #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

Finished my Sanctifiers Kill Team. Couldn't resist using an Abominable Intelligence to give them a dramatic, gothic background

Just finished my Vulkan He'stan. Fantastic model. Makes a good focal point for my Salamanders! Pleased to finish him before end of the year. Anything you're painting you are hoping to have done before end of the year? #WarhammerCommunity #paintingwarhammer

Last members of the Sanctifiers Kill Team finished. Couldn't resist painting the missionaries in Salamanders green, as if they were adherents to the Promethean Creed. Really happy with how the squad has turned out #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

Next part of my Sanctifiers Kill Team finished! #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

Working through the Kill Team Sanctifiers box. Lots of details and rich characterisation. Enjoy these! #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

2nd Rapier complete for my Heresy era Salamanders! Really like this kit #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

It's been a while since I had the chance to finish some models. Happy to be getting back to it with this Heresy Salamander's Rapier. Really fun little kit, and painting the second one now #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

The new Salamander Combat Patrol came out this weekend. As luck would have it, I've previously painted everything in it. So, unexpectedly, now the proud owner of a game legal Salamander Combat Patrol! #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

My kitbashed Augur Command and Control Squad, inspired by the first of the Journals for Heresy 3.0. These guys are supposed to help coordinate the legion. I think the dude with dual iPads is my favourite! #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

Tell me again how female Custodians or 'woke' was going to kill the Hobby? Never been in a bigger, better or stronger place.

Some super conversion and kitbashing conversion work here! Nice work @DumbRobotStuff

My Salamanders' Heresy Consuls. Lots of discussion about role, load outs and importance of Consuls in the new edition. Nice excuse to share this group photo! #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

With the new edition of Heresy dropping tomorrow, here's a little group shot of my small Sisters of Silence force, led by Jenetia Krole #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

Recently finished these kitbashed Sternguard. The multi part kit gives LOADS of spares, so added them to some Infernus Marine bodies from Combat Patrol magazine #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

With the new edition of the Heresy approaching, it's given me motivation to paint up some old models. This squad of Sisters of Silence will make good allies to my Salamanders #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer
