As a pain psychologist, Dr. @BethDarnall saw how difficult it was for people to access behavioral pain care in their communities. Traditional treatments often require multiple sessions, creating barriers for people who may already struggle to find time, resources, or specialized care.
That challenge helped inspire Empowered Relief, a single-session program designed to make evidence-based pain management skills more accessible.
Over more than a decade, feedback from patients and clinicians has helped shape the program and inform efforts to expand access to pain care, regardless of where people live.
