I've been getting slower for 12 years on iRacing. At least I think. So after a random sweating for my life GT3 race, I've decided I'm exclusively running Porsche Cup cars all 2026 Season 4 and making an effort. We'll see what happens... youtu.be/iUF-AtvSrD0

Rig has gotten some upgrades. Roof and side skirts are S tier additions. Custom made DDU is huge. Literally. Fun too.

Driver discourse in motorsport is so hosed and it has always bugged me. Way back when, at the local track I saw JJ Yealey during the triple crown year. Dude was a EZ lock. That good. This one sticks in my head so much. Kyle Busch, didnt impress at all. Got those wrong...

Given how bad even F1 misses, I bet they dont really have much to go on behind the scenes either. It seems so silly motorsports discourse just goes on "well this guy was good here and beat that guy" when we all know years later there are often big ol' "mitigating factor".

Baseball abandoned the slash line and revolutionized the sport. Basketball found that 3 is indeed more than 2. American Football had the west coast offense showing people dinking and dunking is OP long before Brady. Its wild to me. I hate that were stuck with caveman logic.

Why are there so few sim racing steering wheels in the 310mm size? 280-290 dime a dozen, 330 plenty of options. The middle ground that I feel is nearly universally good for everything is almost crickets.

Im sad to say I did not record my first race with the simucube 2. When you get a wet > dry race with half the field on slicks it really is a thing of beauty. I dont know why we can't have that on the regular. Ive done like 2 other races in the rain on iRacing lol

I went with triples over VR for the new rig for three reasons: biggest one being VR was always a bit half baked. Ive had to swap cables a billion times, have done this unplug rig monitors, boot, shut down, plug in, boot up dance like 5 times now. Think I made the wrong call...

This is why I'm slow... now how do I fix it? iRacing Porsche cup car. I'm red and blue lines, blue my PB. Looks like I'm habitually braking too hard too quick, but release the pressure too quick, so I've lost time in the braking zone and get nothing out of weight transfer?
