Doc Rivers tells Bill Simmons it was so hard for him to coach Giannis Antetokounmpo during his tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks:
“He’s not easy. He plays at this crazy downhill pace. He’s really a difficult guy. He has this great passing ability, but he doesn’t have a super-high IQ at the same time. He really has only one way of playing. Every play, he wants to force it. I wish he’d learned how to execute better.
“The thing he still needs to learn is the value of execution how important it is, when you’re in practice and at shoot around, to lock in on execution. Now he has a coach who’s as good as there is at execution.”

My sister also has POTS. You suddenly and indefinitely can’t regulate things that should happen automatically (heart rate, circulation, energy, body temp, digestion, etc.)
No answers. Treating symptoms is hit/often miss. Truly awful, life-altering. Empathize so deeply with KP.

21 years ago today, Vince Carter’s most famous dunk on Alonzo Mourning
VC said Alonzo didn’t talk to him for 6-7 years after that poster. VC also dunked on Zo 2 more times (all 3 in this video)

They said my parents were too young to marry and would never make it. Well, 58 years later, look at God! 🙏🏾❤️ Five children—two served in the military and three attended college. They believed in God, family, church, and the POWER of public education! They didn't have everything, but they gave us everything that mattered. Now you see where I get my genes, faith, and determination! ❤️ #FamilyLegacy

Mercedes Moné revealed that her younger sister Alexis passed away in September:
“One memory I keep thinking about is when we went to WrestleMania together in Atlanta when we were younger. Wrestling has been such a huge part of my life, and I love that I have that memory with my sister from before so many of my own dreams came true. I also think about 2020, when she helped me with my mom. I will always be grateful for that.
I wish Alexis had more time. I wish her children had more time with their mom. I'm still trying to understand how somebody so young can be gone.
I love you, Alexis.”

Condolences to Mercedes and her family ❤️

I urge, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone — for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
