A stranger has left me a voicemail every night at 9 PM for two weeks, and tonight he said, "If you're listening to these, please pick up."
The first one was an accident. A deep, tired voice: "Hey, it's me. I burned the soup again. Don't tell Mom." Then he hung up. I assumed it was a wrong number and deleted it.
The second night he told me about his neighbor's cat. The third, a story about locking himself out in a towel. By the end of the week, I was curled up on my couch in an oversized sweater with tea, waiting for 9 PM like it was my favorite show.
I never called back. I never told him he had the wrong number.
Tonight, his voice was softer. "I think I figured out I've been calling the wrong person. And I think you know that."
I sat very still.
"If you're there," he said, "I'd like to hear you laugh. Just once."

Maester Aemon delivers one of the most powerful pieces of advice in the series to a young Lord Commander facing a decision that will split the Night’s Watch.

Her screen presence carries a distinctive appeal that feels rare in the industry. She chooses roles carefully, which makes every appearance feel intentional rather than oversaturated. Every period in film has its own stylistic excesses, yet her work cuts through them with genuine skill. Her performance in *The Witch* remains one of the strongest examples of that—controlled, unsettling, and memorable without relying on excess.

Toph was dropping massive hints and Sokka completely fumbled the play by bringing up his exes. Classic Sokka. 😭

Love this back and forth. David is brave for confessing, Jessica seems interested, hope they make it real.

1 am 25 years old Male and I am a virgin.
What's wrong with me?
I'm 25, a virgin, and increasingly insecure about my dating life. I moved to the UK two years ago, and between COVID, the war in my home country, severe teenage acne and having a slight stutter, l've never been particularly socially active or confident. I also have some unresolved issues with my mom , which might contribute to my insecurities.
I've never received much attention from women . I've since tried dating apps and gone on quite a few dates, including second dates with two ladies , but I haven't felt particularly excited about them. The problem is that the women I'm actually interested in rarely seem to feel the same way about me.
Sometimes I even feel tempted to just have sex for the sake of it, perhaps because I'm tired of feeling inexperienced and left behind.
I don't think I'm exceptionally cute , but I'm reasonably handsome . I genuinely don't understand why dating and intimacy seem so difficult for me. Is it just a confidence issue? Am I doing something wrong? I feel like, with every passing year, I question my attractiveness and desirability more and more.
**Please don't DM me offering help or ssx . I'm looking for genuine advice and discussion.**

My mother thinks she is dating Elon Musk. Clearly, she is not. However, it’s become nearly impossible to convince her of this.
I’ve never seen a situation quite like it. This scammer has paid around $30,000 in her bills, including paying off her car. However, they’ve also hacked into her bank account, hacked into her socials etc. I don’t even know if these are all the same person—I suspect not.
The language does not sound like a native English speaker. They say things like, “Hello dear” and “my love.”
They are possessive of her and get mad at her kids for calling them out as fake. They text and video call all hours of the night—there is clearly a LOT of fake AI stuff, especially photos sent. Our mom has mental issues and simply refuses to believe it. It doesn’t help that this person/people pays off her debt.

The more I think about Dumbledore, the harder it becomes to understand why he’s so widely regarded as one of the greatest characters in Harry Potter.
He knew Harry was being abused and still sent him back to the Dursleys every summer. He allowed Snape to bully students for years, did very little to improve Hagrid’s circumstances, and let an entire generation suffer the consequences of his past with Grindelwald.
He was supposedly one of the greatest wizards alive, yet so many tragedies happened under his watch that could have been prevented.
And let’s not forget Sirius. An innocent man spent 12 years in Azkaban while Dumbledore never seriously investigated what happened.
I understand that he’s a complex character, but being intelligent, powerful and occasionally compassionate doesn’t automatically make someone a good person. Honestly, how much of Dumbledore’s greatness comes from what he actually did, and how much comes from what everyone else believed about him?

The Sirius Black situation is honestly his biggest failure. He was Chief Mage of the Wizengamot and just let a loyal Order member rot without a trial

This is why these things need to be clear early. Both of them just assumed the other would fall in line.

The flight attendant told him three times to take his seat. On the fourth request, he sat down and suddenly started crying. His mother’s funeral was only two hours away. After that, the cabin stayed completely quiet until we landed.

This is the exact moment Sansa Stark stopped being a victim and became the most dangerous Stark alive.
Remember who she was talking to.
Ramsay Bolton had just raped her. Tortured her. Locked her in Winterfell. Fed his own men to his dogs. He cut off Theon's manhood and turned him into Reek. He flayed people for fun.
He walks into that parley thinking he's going to scare a little girl. He says "I look forward to it" - meaning breaking her again.
And Sansa, who used to dream about songs and lemon cakes and Joffrey, looks him dead in the eye and says it like she's telling him the weather:
"You're going to die tomorrow, Lord Bolton. Sleep well."
No screaming. No crying. No shaking.
That's what made Ramsay pause. Because for the first time, he met someone colder than him.
She knew something he didn't. She already wrote to Littlefinger. The Knights of the Vale were already riding. Ramsay thought he was hunting Jon. Sansa was hunting HIM.
And the next day, she watched him get eaten by his own dogs and walked away without flinching.
The girl who once begged Joffrey for mercy became the woman who fed a monster to his own monsters.
Sansa didn't need a sword to kill Ramsay.
She just needed patience.
