This is not difficult, if the options you have are all options that God would spit out of his mouth, then you abstain.

God raised up that bitter and hasty nation to punish Israel. If Israel had been handed a ballot, casting it for the Babylonians would have been wicked, because of what they would do to the children, the worship, and the countrymen.
Wicked and compromising rulers can already be a form of judgment. That does not license you to authorize the worse destroyers. Democrats have told you their plan: open borders, packed courts, end the Electoral College, statehood for DC and Puerto Rico, prenatal homicide protected by law, and jail for their political enemies.
Judgment on your nation is not license to vote in the destroyers or to sit out the fight. Vote with the options you have. Plead for the repentance of this nation and its rulers.

You can free a soul from purgatory every day this week.

1. Visit a cemetery and pray for the dead (even silently)
2. Go to confession (within about 20 days before or after)
3. Receive Holy Communion
4. Pray for the Pope's intentions (an Our Father and Hail Mary is enough)
5. Be detached from all sin, even venial
Today only (All Souls Day): you can also gain one by visiting a church and praying the Our Father and the Creed.
One confession covers the whole week. Communion and the prayer for the Pope are needed for each day's indulgence.
And if you're not fully detached from sin, you still gain a partial indulgence. So go anyway.

Matt 19 doesn't help you. God allowed divorce because of hard hearts. He never once allowed child sacrifice for that reason, and Israel had plenty of hard hearts toward Molech. His answer was put it away, not regulate it (Lev 20). You can't take one concession in God's law and use it to permit another evil. That's not applying His law, that's breaking it. Jesus brought it up to rebuke it, not to hand us a blueprint for tolerating murder. Lost neighbors don't change what justice is. Protecting babies isn't a church thing. It's what God requires of every ruler.
