Corey Lewandowski was never confirmed to anything at DHS. He was an unpaid "volunteer" who was allowed to keep outside income and wouldn't say who paid him.
Even so, he signed off on contracts. DHS contractors told the White House he asked them for payments. He reportedly pitched Qatar and the UAE on hiring him for help with visas.
Now DHS's own inspector general has referred him to the Justice Department.

Agent tells man filming free to leave—because he's white.

Agents claim they tackled the man because he started running—with no other probable cause.
