After about 6 years of doing my own thing and working with many amazing YouTubers, I am sad to say goodbye but excited to take a big new path. I always say God, family, YouTube in that order, and God has opened up some doors to an awesome opportunity and new challenge. I am blessed to be able to get to be at home with my family while I do this YouTube thing for my career, and I'm ready for another great adventure and chapter written in the book. Starting tomorrow you guys won't see or hear from me as much on here but I won't be too far away so feel free to say hi! I am grateful for all I've been able to accomplish so far and can't wait to do even more!

Keep putting quarters in the YouTube machine and eventually you'll get a jackpot

Obviously a little more to it but if you aren't putting quarters in, you won't ever win

I always say there are two things that change a YouTuber: 1) buying a house that is way too expensive and 2) having kids. One for the worse and one for the better.
Some YouTubers put off having kids but I'm going to warn you guys, that's a mistake. I did YouTube with kids and now I do my own business with kids and they are everything. I was scared, I felt like I wasn't ready, I was scared it would slow the business down. But life becomes 100x better, you get more efficient, and everything you do has more purpose to it.
Chase those dreams and goals but remember no amount of money and fame will ever fill that gap that only God and family can fill. I totally get there are people who can't and obviously you make your own choices with your life, all I can do is say that I've lived both lives and I personally see this one is way better. Please don't take this as a holier-than-thou thing, you do what you want to do, but just don't be afraid to become a mom or dad because it might get in the way of YouTube and business. It won't and you'll be great, even better one might argue!

My friend you are so far off. These are extremely talented YouTubers learning a ton worth FAR MORE than the price all in one collective short period, as opposed to years. You are limited in your thinking and always have the option to pay zero on YouTube, and many do. But what you get in here is specific application and direction, basically having someone right alongside you teaching you everything you need to know AND how to use it. I spend so much 1 on 1 time with these guys that I can and should charge MUCH more than I do. I appreciate your thoughts, but something like this isn't for you.

Just gotta brag on this guy. Years of hard work, gaming channel, no Roblox to help him, just putting out banger videos one after another forever. He just reached his highest view month ever! And the best part about it is he just had a baby and uploaded even less than before. This right here is how you do it guys. On top of all of the YouTube planning and ideas and meetings, he has become my good friend over the past few years of working together. I think 2 mill per month when we started? Not stopping until we break 10 mill for sure and beyond. Love you, C! So proud of you brother

We had our first YT School class today
Now it's not easy having 30 different people, many in different niches and walks of life together all learning the same thing
Some surface level because you have to build that foundation
But I didn't shy away from going deeper from the start and pushing where many need to go
What an insane group to lead as we all grow together
You just never know what SINGLE idea or spark can change the way you see things and take your channel to a new level
This may just be the first and the last Cohort I ever do, I'll see when it comes down to it and the results that come out of this
But I am loving it and this group we have, can't wait to share more wins with you guys

Nervous but excited to finally post this, since you guys know I almost always work with YouTube channels 1 on 1.
January.
Only 20 of you.
Small YouTube cohort.
This is the stuff I normally only teach to big channels or on private calls.
I’ve been doing this for 11 years, across channels of all sizes and niches, and what works never changes.
No recycled advice.
No surface-level stuff.
Just the highest-level strategies and decision-making that actually move every channel forward (like the ones we did in the pics below).
This isn’t for everyone.
It’s expensive.
It’s for creators who take YouTube seriously and want real growth, not just motivation.
Comment “SCHOOL” if you already know this is for you and I'll DM details.

Late night tweet nobody will see but will be I guess formally announcing YT School cohort here soon and just wanted to say I am anxious but more excited than I have been in a long time. I love working with youtubers 1 on 1 and that will never change, I just love the classroom setting and have SO much insane stuff to teach. Stuff that I do everyday for over 10 years, stuff that big creators do and know, stuff that I teach in these expensive consultation calls that have literally changed lives... just so excited to share this with a small group of people. Ya it's paid and it benefits me and all that but it will be worth it big time for these guys. I guess some cohorts limit access to the cohort leader but this group will be with me the entire time asking questions, getting 2nd opinions, weekly lessons, etc. And I can't see any other outcome than this group becoming close with each other as well and being longterm friends on YouTube, which will send them even higher imo. Anyway thanks for reading my big chunk of text and even if you don't or can't join the cohort, please hit like on the tweet since that will prob help me reach a little further if I need it. I don't straight up just sell a lot and put myself out there like this very often but definitely wanted to do this thing no matter what. Have a great Saturday and a blessed Sunday, see you guys in the YT School tweet probably tomorrow!

YouTube is like football
The creator is the quarterback
They call the shots, every play runs through them, and they can win or lose the game for the team
They might have a star WR or RB on their team that makes big plays when they get the ball, but they'll never be the leader that the quarterback is
Then you have the linemen
If you don't know football, these guys keep the quarterback alive basically
They take the most hits, they are strong, without them the entire offense is broken
But they get almost zero credit
You rarely see a star offensive lineman, you won't see them in almost any ads on TV, most people will never know 95% of their names
And yet without them, the offense doesn't exist
In YouTube, these are the people behind the scenes that turn the quarterback's talents into magic
The editors, the thumbnail artists, the producers, the creative directors, the accountant, even the family and friends behind the creator encouraging them to keep going during down views
Now let me tie this all together for us
The person who appreciates those linemen the most is that quarterback, that's his team, his safety
The best lineman knows that their entire purpose and literal paid job is to make that quarterback shine
Now every once in a while a quarterback will buy those linemen some gifts or do something special at Christmas but otherwise the lineman just shows up every day and knows that if they can make the quarterback shine, that they shine too as a team
So creators, surround yourself with some good linemen. Take care of them, thank them, if they aren't blocking then replace them
But linemen, make that quarterback a star
Don't expect a thank you, don't demand a percent of the success, don't think of yourself as more
Just lift that QB up with all your strength and talents
Now I get that a lot goes into this and if your quarterback just isn't worth protecting, move to another team
But the more we serve others and put them first, the more peace and joy and rewards we actually receive
There is a reason I've worked with youtubers for years with no contracts, they know I have their back and that I will fight for them although I might allow a sack every now and then
Sure I get paid to but it's more than that
It's putting them first, lifting them up, and not being entitled to the success they have worked hard to build
Hope this all makes sense and just hit me pretty hard this morning, hopefully it can help you sometimes

Envy and YouTube.
I have seen some great creators rise, money roll in and dreams come true.
But I've also seen creators falls, money dry up, and relevancy fade.
YouTube is hard
Every good channel will have its high highs and low lows
But there is no low like a creator who falls deep into envy
It can quite literally take you over, cause you to dislike others who are doing well, and in the end, you only hurt yourself
I can share all day about how to get more views, how to increase RPM, how to up APV by 4%
But none of these matter if a person is filled with envy that stops creativity, gives you tunnel vision, kills gratitude, and makes you resentful toward even your best friends
Little heavy this morning but these are the things you have to talk about to get to the next level
It's normal to feel it, we all do, but it needs to be killed before it grows
Celebrate successes others have, lift people up, help without expecting, and remember you are on your own path
For every screenshot I share of a win, I'm sure I can find 5 more that are not
We are right where the Lord has us today to learn what we need for the next step ahead

Let me get this straight @TeamYouTube
Your AI couldn't find a "natural break" in my video for 30 MINUTES STRAIGHT? Really? Not a single place where an ad can be shown for half an hour?
What a joke.

this is how i know the automatic ad slots are terrible
SAME EXACT VIDEO, SAME SCRIPT, UPLOADED TWICE. SAME AD PLACEMENT. one video works, the other is 'interruptive'

Ad placer v3 update is out now!
This update just makes the ad placer work on the new YouTube UI, and also let’s you automatically place an ad at the start
Doesn’t include the auto place ads in silent parts thing, still figuring that one out
If you haven’t gotten the update yet, hit the update button on your extensions page on your browser
