We hiring for a new position! We are on the hunt for the next Dieter Rams. The kind of person who lives by "less but better."
Enterprise software is notoriously clunky and complex (think Oracle, IBM, CAE tools, etc). This is partly because enterprise customers request more and more features, and the platform becomes chaotic over time. With AI, this can change—you can dynamically alter the front end to best serve the user.
We are looking for a mischievous, design-savvy engineer who stares at lines of code, user flows, and brand guidelines with the same gleam in their eye. You will be responsible for ensuring that everything users see is designed and crafted perfectly.
Expect lots of travelling to customer sites in Texas, Northern Virginia, Washington, California, and other places where you will live, breathe, and dream customer problems firsthand, customizing Entangl for them and ensure the design is great!
You should also be familiar with Svelte.
If your idea of fun is deleting more lines of code than you write, then this is for you.

Designing the perfect chip is hard! Floor planning is a stage in the chip design process where functional blocks are arranged to meet certain goals: high performance, low power consumption, and cost efficiency.
These goals are typically achieved by minimizing wirelength and white space.
Such floorplanning problems fall under a branch of mathematical programming known as combinatorial optimization.

a hyperscaler gave us a challenge at @Entangl_AI ... they wanted us to see if we could minimise their number of parts in a data center. Entangl found 1,3676,697 parts (!) that could be eliminated, consolidated, or simplified! resulting in an annual saving of $17m...

The TSMC fabrication plant in Arizona is essentially an entire city under one roof.
The power needed would support about 100,000 homes, the cost is about 20 billion dollars, the machines themselves are $250m each, the concrete itself is about 10 empire state buildings.
It's worth it, but damn.

If you're running a critical engineering project (like aerospace or automotive) @Entangl_AI helps you catch errors early.
YC S24's @Entangl_AI automates error detection in engineering projects, saving time, money, and potentially lives. It identifies & fixes design issues early, preventing costly delays and dangerous outcomes.
