BREAKING: Scientists have announced that time will no longer be recorded as the Common Era (CE). Beginning October 10, 2026 at midnight, all future historical events will be recorded as After Ditka (AD).
Thanks for da memories, Coach 💙

I honestly think it's funny that the Propaganda narrative has shifted from "Americans need to compromise on their privacy for safety " to "Please, just regulate us." Hard pass on all of that. No warrantless surveillance. Period.
I'm curious to hear from others, what regulations do you feel are still missing for automated license plate readers. The most common one I hear is re: warrants. What else? Will engage with as many of the good faith replies as I can.

I understand the law enforcement angle, but thought to myself 'It's only a matter of time before the government abuses this tech.' And by abuse I meant, targeting political opponents and tracking them. In the mean time it has already been abused by the government to track exes. It's just a very very slippery slope from here. Despite the good it actually does, it's actually a net negative.
This ditzoid masterpiece ranks right up there with the bathing beauties posing in Australian Covid camps. Surveillance as a narcissist's delight. Smile for the firing squad, baby! You look terrific!

Hey Pokémon card nuts, is this a good deal? Chicago Airport behind security. Seems insane to me, but I've seen insane things before.

Maybe just a look ahead at dynamic pricing...

Found a moldy asbestos lined local newspaper grocery ad from 2001 in the walls of a historic home I'm renovating. We real time compare it to current grocery prices and see that inflation over the past 25 years is pretty much 10%/year. Takes place in the first ~30ish minutes. Hope everyone enjoys! open.spotify.com/episode/4tt…

Bitcoin is an ego test.
People want desperately to see Bitcoin fail because watching it succeed would mean admitting their entire worldview was wrong. It’s the same psychology that resisted the shift from geocentric to heliocentric. From “the state defines value” to “reality defines value”.

Fantastic 10 min BTC beginner video.
⚠️ I just read 42 Bitcoin books. Most were torture. But the ones that weren’t? They finally helped me understand why 99% of people still don’t get Bitcoin in 2025. Give me 10 minutes and I’ll show you the ideas that actually matter. 💥 THE EXIT MANUAL – EPISODE #14

Hey @jack was at my local watering hole and asked if they used @Square. They said no, they use toast as long the software operates faster. They even said another local pub switched from square to toast because of the same issue. High frequency transaction businesses (where Bitcoin should thrive), are going to competitiors. Bitcoin operates at the speed of light, but the software doesn't. Just news from the trenches.

Pay attention to our food supply. COVID was not that long ago.
🚨 USDA calls this a “win” for small packers? One steer = ~450 lbs retail meat. New rule only allows 300 lbs to cross state lines. Not even one whole beef. Meanwhile, Big 4 pack 9M lbs a week. 🇺🇸 THIS IS NOT REFORM!!!

More of this please.
There exists a third faction that isn’t Core or Knots. We simply want Bitcoin to be secure, unchanging, and conservative. We believe development should be framed on a centuries-long timescale, with any proposed change approached with utmost care and caution. Primum non nocere.

Big difference between "feeling safe" and actually being safe.
🚨 UPDATE: The mayor of Charlotte is criticizing anyone who shares the video of a black man brutally stabbing a white woman in her city, and says she's "thinking" about "safety" in Charlotte. "I want to thank our media partners and community members who have chosen not to repost or share the footage." "I've been thinking hard about what safety really looks like in our city. I remain committed to doing all we can to protect our residents and ensure Charlotte is a place where everyone feels safe." USELESS MAYOR!!

Now we just need to get everyone caught up with 10 years of news.
Grok, Steele was never funded by the Free Beacon. As Fusion-GPS chief Glenn Simpson testified, Steele was paid by Perkins-Coie, the law firm hired by the Hillary Clinton campaign. The notion that he was first paid by Republicans is an erroneous talking point, oft-corrected

Keep an eye on your food. The battle is only beginning.
“This is a broken market that caused consumers to pay ever-increasing beef prices while cattle prices were falling—a phenomenon that cannot be explained by a competitive market, particularly when one considers the only ingredient of beef is cattle.” beefnews.org/the-hourglass-i…

Selling public land will not fix America's housing unaffordability issues. Inflation is the cause, and Bitcoin fixes it.
Excellent piece in @BreitbartNews by @kenblackwell on my housing proposal
