I think data centers could be great! But to be great there needs to be heavy investment in their communities and more transparency about what current community benefits look like long-term.
A have a Data Center in our County in Mississippi. Zero water or Electricity issue. Way over a Thousand workers on site, staying in our Motels and the Company even brought in Trailers for the workers. They just poured 5 mil into our Schools, Business are springing up all around it to catch the over 1,000 workers coming in and they are providing free College training for their workers. City is booming financially.

Attempting to impeach Kennedy would be extremely unwise for three reasons:
1- Getting rid of a 35-year environmental lawyer who is working with the EPA on the very issues Democrats are trying to advance would be counterproductive. He is the Democrats’ biggest ally in pesticide and environmental toxins.
2- It would be a political circus, preventing advancements in other areas far more important.
3- Not a single Independent voter ( which makes up 45% of the population) who sees Kennedy as their champion will lean left come the election in 2028 if the Dems mess with Kennedy.

Just got a call from a Republican source after texting a mildly ironic comment. Was expecting doom and gloom. I heard something slightly different.
“There are many in the GOP who saw this coming and wanted to save the administration from themselves via targeted oversight against the most cancerous and dumb elements within it, but were constrained. Now there could be a real opportunity to address very serious problems that are long overdue, but only if the Dems resist the urge to overreach.”
You are more than welcome to speculate as to who the “cancerous and dumb” elements are.
