Jeffrey Epstein: The Death of Our Democracy?
The October 27th Epstein Justice webinar will examine the crimes and cover-ups of Jeffrey Epstein and the “Epstein class,” which have incrementally dismantled our democracy. A government that fails to protect little girls and allows them to be destroyed with impunity is definitely not a democracy.
The Epstein files have shown that Epstein and the Epstein class annihilated scores of underage girls with impunity, and the previous four decades have shown us that Epstein and the Epstein class have committed numerous additional atrocities as they’ve subverted our democracy.
In fact, the Epstein class seems to view “poor people” as a stratum of humanity that should be eradicated. In a February 3, 2011, email, Hollywood producer Barry Josephson ponders a question that Jeffrey Epstein posed to Bill Gates. “I’ve been thinking a lot about that question that you asked Bill Gates, ‘How do we get rid of poor people as a whole,’ and I have an answer/comment regarding that for you. When can I call you today to discuss this??” Apparently, Josephson’s idea to eradicate “poor people,” instead of poverty, was too convoluted and/or evil to commit to an email.
A February 21, 2014, email from Jeffrey Epstein to former Israeli Prime Minister and alleged pedophile Ehud Barak states: “with civil unrest exploding in Ukraine Syria, Somalia, Libya, and the desperation of those in power, isn’t this perfect for you.” Barak replied: “You’re right [in] a way. But not simple to transform it into a cash flow.” The “civil unrest” in the countries listed by Epstein was responsible for untold deaths. Baseline human decency would reflexively attempt to assuage such carnage and genocidal social strife, but Epstein and Barak looked upon it as a strictly money-making venture.
Forty years ago, Epstein was neck deep in Iran-Contra, and it was a lucrative venture for him, so Iran-Contra is an example of Epstein, the Epstein class, and the CIA capitalizing on civil unrest. In the 1980s, Iran was locked in a war with Iraq. At the time, Iran was labeled an enemy combatant state, but, nonetheless, the CIA treasonously sold arms to Iran while the US government overtly sold arms to Iraq. The CIA then took the illicit proceeds from its Iranian war profiteering and funded the Nicaraguan Contras in their bloody insurgency against Nicaragua’s Sandinista government, even though Congress had explicitly outlawed the funding of the Contras.
Despite the death and misery illegally sown by Iran-Contra, not a single individual who aided and abetted the crimes of Iran-Contra spent a day in prison.

U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has faced significant scrutiny and public backlash primarily due to revelations about his past connections to Jeffrey Epstein and his aggressive Wall Street business practices.
The Jeffrey Epstein Controversy & Resignation Calls
The primary source of recent public criticism stem from contradictions surrounding his relationship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein:
•Contradictory Timelines: Lutnick initially claimed in media interviews that he cut all contact with Epstein after a single "gross" and "creepy" encounter involving a massage table at Epstein's home in 2005. He claimed he and his wife vowed to never be in the same room with him again.
•The Island Visit: When the Department of Justice released millions of pages of Epstein files, documents and photos revealed that Lutnick, his wife, and his children actually visited Epstein's private Caribbean island, Little Saint James, for lunch in 2012—four years afterEpstein pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution from a minor. Lutnick later testified to Congress that this was just a brief, "inconsequential" stop during a family boat vacation.
•Continued Business Ties: A British whistleblower and former employee of Lutnick's firm, Simon Andriesz, uncovered email chains from as late as May 2018 showing Lutnick and Epstein communicating about a digital advertising startup called Adfin, in which both were co-investors. Lutnick testified to the House Oversight Committee that he was unaware Epstein was an investor in the startup until recently.
•Political Fallout: Following these disclosures, lawmakers from both sides of the aisle called for Lutnick's resignation, accusing him of lying to the American public about the extent of his relationship with a convicted sex offender.

Beyond the Epstein files, Lutnick (the long-time CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald) has historically carried a polarizing reputation in the financial world:
•Ruthless Partner Agreements: He has been involved in intense legal disputes with former business partners. Lawsuits have alleged that his firm's restrictive partnership agreements gave him broad leeway to withhold millions of dollars in payments from departing employees.
•Ousting His Mentor: Early in his career, when his long-time mentor and Cantor Fitzgerald founder Bernie Cantor fell ill, Lutnick orchestrated a vote through an incapacity committee to strip Cantor of control of the firm, leading to a permanent, bitter feud with Cantor’s family.
•Conflicts of Interest: Ethics groups and watchdogs have repeatedly accused Lutnick of leveraging his government role to benefit his family's personal wealth, pointing to the rapid doubling of his net worth to over $7 billion while managing national trade and tariff policies.

34 years ago this month, an Irish woman committed an act of defiance on American television that would make her one of the most hated celebrities in the world.
She tried to get people to pay attention to children being abused by the very institution that claimed to be their moral guardian.
On 3 October 1992, Sinéad O'Connor appeared on Saturday Night Live, one of America's most popular television programmes.
She was 25 years old.
Two years earlier, Nothing Compares 2 U had made her a global superstar. She had an extraordinary voice, enormous commercial potential and a future that could have made her fabulously wealthy.
Every incentive in the entertainment industry told her to keep smiling, singing, looking pretty and making money.
Instead, she chose to make people profoundly uncomfortable.
She performed Bob Marley's War, completely alone, without instrumental accompaniment, changing the lyrics to explicitly condemn child abuse.
At the end, she held up a photograph of Pope John Paul II.
And tore it to pieces.
"FIGHT THE REAL ENEMY!"
Silence.
The audience didn't know what to do.
Neither did the producers, who had no idea she was planning this.
Within days, the machinery of outrage was operating at full capacity.
Sinéad had insulted Catholics!
She had insulted the Pope!
She had insulted religion!
How DARE this young woman with a shaved head disrespect something so sacred?
Funny how much more offended people could get about a torn photograph than about children being raped and abused by people entrusted with their care.
Actor Joe Pesci subsequently appeared on the same programme and declared that, had he been there, he would have given her a smack.
The audience laughed and applauded.
A grown man threatening to hit a woman for protesting child abuse.
Apparently THAT was entertainment.
Madonna criticised her.
People destroyed her records.
Her career suffered enormously.
Two weeks later, she appeared at Madison Square Garden for a concert honouring Bob Dylan.
Thousands of people had come to celebrate a musician whose reputation rested partly on decades of songs about injustice, rebellion and refusing to submit to authority.
And when Sinéad appeared, a substantial part of the audience BOOED her.
For having actually rebelled.
Kris Kristofferson approached her and told her not to let the bastards get her down.
"I'm not down," she replied.
And instead of singing the Bob Dylan song she had prepared, she launched into War AGAIN.
What happened in the following decades?
Investigations revealed extensive sexual abuse of children by Catholic clergy and institutional efforts to conceal it.
Sinéad wasn't attacking the ordinary believer who found comfort in religion.
