This game is entirely "vibe" coded. I spent 6 months using AI to replace Unreal Engine from under our game Em-8ER. Now we're developing 93x faster than we ever did before with Unreal. Because our engine is developed to be 100% AI first instead of tacked on. It is not a toy one shotted overnight, it is a production ready engine. I made a big bet that this was the future and now I'm very confident it is. You don't need to license an expensive game engine anymore. Today's update features: - Advanced character animation system - World collision meshes - AI assisted Blender anim exporter and workflow - Character outfits and outfit swapping - Physic driven character effects - Fully networked client/server player capsules - Pilotable vehicles - Waifus The engine is called Kun-Zhi, the Tibetan word for "Ground of all" that the world springs from. I’d like to address a whole lot of churn going on right now. 3 very specific points to discuss. First, last weekend I was asked to join a charity stream to raise funds for Dementia research. Being in a position where my presence in the event has the potential to bring more eyes and success to the cause is a blessing that is difficult to properly articulate. I’m grateful and honored to be considered. Turns out there was a banner they made with AI for promotional purposes. A lot of people thought I was the one who made the banner and were upset about it. Let me be clear; AI is not my thing. I’ve been quite vocal that I don’t use it but I also choose not to ignore it’s existence. It’s a thing, people use it, I don’t. That’s the end of my AI story. Embarrassingly, I couldn’t even tell. Which to be honest, I think that’s why I don’t love it, I don’t love how easily I’ve been duped with it before. Hard to know what to believe these days. Second, when asked to be a part of this charity event, I did learn that a mod I had to let go last year due to some unsavory and divisive tweets was also going to be helping out. I didn’t support those tweets then and I don’t now. I had my reservations but decided to help out the charity anyway, and I’m glad I did because they did great and I'm proud to have been part of it. I really didn’t want to make it look like my participation along side the past mod devalued everything from last year but if that is the impression I set then I do very much apologize for that. 100% not my intention and won't happen again. Third, and this one hurts me, like really really hurts me so forgive my vulnerability. Someone out there took a conversation I was having with Scar last year where I was opening up to him about my late father. Out of context, the bit does not sound great. My father was a sweet man and I miss him very very much. The context to the clip was that while I would do my best to clean up my Dad’s place before and after we would go to breakfast, there was only so much I could do. The conditions he was living in were heart breaking. I don’t recall how Scar and I got on the topic but I was just hanging with my friend and talking about real stuff. I referenced my poor father as a giant germ and that simply was not fair to him. It wasn’t even meant to be a dig, it was me softening the sadness I felt for him with humor. Hilarious I know. I can’t really properly describe the awful feeling that conjured up in my heart when I saw that clip but I can tell you it’s shame you could cut with a knife. Real, gut wrenching shame. My Dad and I always joked about anything and everything, even his living conditions. I guess it’s how we managed. In any case, Scar joked back “Not everybody in a wheel chair is dirty.” I know he was joking and I know he knows I wasn’t saying that, but that clip, especially out of context could definitely be misunderstood. So if there is ANYONE out there who is wheelchair bound and was offended by this, then Oh My God please understand how so genuinely sorry I am for that. Scar is a legit hero of mine so I am clearing this up with him directly offline to ensure he knows I don’t believe that. I love and admire that man and am determined to make things right. Now I’m going to be offline for a good amount of time here and it was important to me I not let this sit in the interim. I've got got a whole lot to think about.
