One-on-one with Martin St. Louis, looking at how his computer works… 👇🏻
Martin St. Louis knows that if the Canadiens want to reach the ultimate goal, he must lead the way in both process and attitude. @EricEngels sits down with the Montreal coach to set up the season. sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/how…
Full quote from St. Louis:
“My favourite people are the people that are 100 percenters. In anything you do in life, you’re only going to be the best if you give it 100 per cent. You want to be a good dad? It’s not about being 100 per-cent present, but when you’re present you have to be 100 per-cent there. So for me, they’re with their family, be 100 per-cent there. They’re here, they’re taking the time--enjoy that. We’re going to play tomorrow, find the pockets that you can enjoy the family and be with them. This is great. These people are a big part of their lives, they’re supportive. Being a wife, a dad, a mom, whatever it is, a kid from a professional athlete, it comes at a price.
"But when the game starts, you’ve got to be 100 per-cent there.
"So to me, you want to find any success in life, be a 100 percenter."
Martin St. Louis on fire at his Heritage Classic presser.
“You want to find any success in life, be a 100 percenter,” he says.
Emphasized how his players should be 100% present with their families right now—the people who have made great sacrifices for them to realize their dreams—and then be 100% there for the game tomorrow.

So far at this practice, we have same lines but different D pairings.

On Oliver Kapanen, Phillip Danault, Alex Newhook and Jake Evans:
All four of Montreal's centres played reliable and predictable on Friday, which is exactly what the Canadiens will need to carry them through the adversity they’re facing without Nick Suzuki. (@EricEngels) sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/cen…

There have been 20 stoppages in play through the first 15 minutes of this game...
Only rhythm to this game is how frequently it's stopping.
Slafkovsky tries a dump-in, which goes off the linesman for a direct pass to Bedard. 1-0 Blackhawks.
Slafkovsky wasn't exactly thrilled with the linesman after that one.
