I welcome the adoption of the General Assembly resolution on the @CIJ_ICJ's advisory opinion on climate change – a powerful affirmation of international law, climate justice, science & the responsibility of states to protect people from the escalating climate crisis.
Those least responsible for climate change are paying the highest price.

It was an honor to welcome H.E Javier Niño Pérez, the newly appointed @EU_Commission Ambassador to @_AfricanUnion and his delegation.
We committed to continue the great collaboration & Cooperation on implementation of @AU_DARBE key priorities, policies, strategies and projects being supported by the #EU like: #ClimateChange, #Water #DisasterRiskReduction and #Food & #Nutrition security.
I also updated the team on the progress of #PostMalabo Process, where the EU accepted to be a member of Steering Committee that will give guidance to the Technical Working Groups. We agreed to convene a meeting on same.
