The passing of #railaodinga is very sad indeed. In all his complexity he represents a time when Kenya dreamed big dreams and its tortuous journey since. My thoughts with his family and all who knew him. Rest in peace Baba.
Yay! Double Yay!!

ALT Hello Earthlings, I’m honoured to join the @RecordingAcademy’s 2025 New Member Class—an inspiring global community of creators and professionals who are shaping the future of music. As a member, I now have a voice in the GRAMMY Awards process and a platform to advocate for our industry, support my peers, and grow in my own journey. What makes the Academy strong is its diversity—of genres, experiences, and voices. I’m excited to contribute my perspective and help champion musical excellence around the world. In other words put some respek on my name 😂#IAmTheAcademy
I called him ECF. He called me Rick James. We would sing Can You Stand The Rain as we went to pick up a certain someone who was skiving to come to Bubbles. I know I’ve used many old words in this post. But that’s how far back it goes. #RIPEdwardKwach
I don’t know if they were impressed but we’re not going to get anywhere as long as elected officials and civil servants can own and profit from private enterprises. Change this get my vote. @MarthaKarua @bonifacemwangi @rigathi youtu.be/pG002P9qH9s
The Harry Belafonte Best Song for Social Change Award is a special honor presented during the Grammy Awards. It recognizes songwriters who create impactful music addressing social issues & inspiring positive change. It would be a great honour to be recognized among the greats!
Still not over the magic we created with this piece. Working alongside super producer @m2thepower3 and the amazing Benjamin Kabaseke on this project was such an incredible experience. Their creativity and energy brought this song to life.
This song Dek Dek Dek has been submitted for Grammy consideration and we are so excited! This track means so much to me, and I’m grateful for the love it’s already received. Let’s keep the momentum going—stream it, share it, and let the world hear the sound of Kenya. 🇰🇪
