There has been so much focus on AI this Steam Next Fest, I feel that a lot of games are being overlooked for how good they are. I have found heaps of interesting new demos, I think it's been a great round this time.

I played the Octomaze demo briefly a few weeks ago before Next Fest (it isn’t a game in NF as far as I know) and I have to say I really enjoyed it! The graphics and sounds were pleasing to the senses. Levels can get pretty hard going forward though! 😈

Quest for Glory IV is one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. I always install it around Halloween and never really get around to beating it.
It was a huge inspiration while making Near-Mage, and still holds up so well after all these years.
