My engineering team went from 2 to 20+ in less than 6 months. I sometimes feel like I speak a different language than them. Any tips?

the current problem with ChatGPT is it tells people what they WANT to hear not what they NEED to hear... and that's why many people are in a constant gpt induced psychosis state it is akin to early social media days, where fb/insta deprived a whole generation of in person social skills

I didn't sleep at all on the night OpenAI released ChatGPT My mind was racing ahead at million miles an hour I was thinking all the possibilities and how this innovation would transform software and business world In the early hours of that morning, I opened up my laptop and sketched the roadmap for CMND It has been 2 years since we started building out that vision So far we got these building blocks covered Chatbots ✅ RAG ✅ MCP server integration ✅ Widgets ✅ React SDK ✅ ...and many more agentic features coming ahead in the new year This is the most ambitious project in my whole career. I know it's a long road to walk, but all my experiences have prepared me for this challenge. We built tooling within the agency that we can ship so fast We have so many talented engineers within the agency We accumulated lots of customers that want us help with their digital transformation Have a bold vision, but take it one step at a time 👟

something weird is happening to dynamodb.us-east-1.amazonaws… maybe it's just my machine somehow but there's no DNS record anymore on Google or Cloudflare

what happened to nextjs? upgraded to v15 the other day countless issues trying to get a static export it's almost impossible to host on S3 anymore switched the whole project to vite instead feels like they are trying to shovel down their hosting options down your throat

“OpenAI is psychologically manipulating their users via ChatGPT” Consumer AI will necessarily gravitate towards maximizing user engagement across ~1B users over any other goal. We’ve seen this story before with social media. This is what the “safety” researchers were afraid of.

As a maxi cursor and replit user, i can share my opinion: - 6500 prompts to generate ~80 modules (python, js) - ~28000 lines of vibe coding And i respectfully think you got this all wrong. AI is good at syntax, but... that's it. Definitely, dont spend much time on syntax issue as AI capacity to resolve the issue is ~100%. BUT (and it is a massive but): AI sucks at: - Writing complex efficient readable and maintainable codes across a whole codebase. - Thinking in systems, - Choosing wisely (assessing the tradeoffs of x and y) => You literally have no idea about the amount of redundancy ai coding creates... like it is just insane. AI agents are to engineers what calculators were to engineers, too: - Calculators didn’t replace engineers, they removed the burden of manual computation, freeing engineers to focus on design, modeling, and problem-solving. - AI agents aren’t replacing engineers, they’re taking over the mechanical parts of coding, letting engineers concentrate on system architecture, integration, verification, and human-centered thinking. => This is a productivity boost that you guys present as a "this job is over". Everyone can code now, but not everyone is an engineer. Yes, AI will continue to improve — but before it can confidently manage an entire codebase, there will likely be a shift away from LLMs toward new architectures for AGI, as Yann LeCun suggests.

One month to go until year ends How did you get on with your resolutions for this year? Any you are planning to complete any goals this month? I got married this year and took my first ever trip to Asia. Japan 🇯🇵 It has been a great year with lots of positives.

post how AI sees you by typing > based on what you know about me, draw a picture of what you think my current life looks like ChatGPT is fully onboard with CMND - Enterprise AI platform we're building 🚀

You vs the the AI founder your VC told you not to worry about. I bootstrapped and exited my previous company. All by hard toil and sweat equity. I was working full-time as a software consultant during the day, giving programming classes in the evenings, and doing odd freelance jobs on the weekends. I saved enough to last me for 2 years, then I put all my effort into building a SaaS logistics platform. I watched my savings go out the window during those 2 years. We managed to scale and exit the company 5 years into the journey. The sad reality is, attracting VC investment works out if you already come from a privileged background, or was educated at Oxbridge in the UK, or Ivy league in the US. CMND is my second tango. Doing it again. Betting on myself. Bootstrapping it to be the leading Enterprise Intelligence Platform. This is the GitHub activity of a YC backed founder from the same geography as me, but with the right credentials for checkbox types. I am working twice as hard. Having odds stacked against you is a great way to light up your ambition. Bring it on silver spoons 🥄
