Half-time thoughts: Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea: 🔴👀 • Our FLOOR level has definitely improved. Even when we’re not playing brilliantly, everyone is actually running off the ball with some intensity and that alone makes us harder to play against. 💪🏽 • Gakpo can do better at ST. There have been plenty of passes played into and around him, but he hasn’t quite latched onto enough of them. Good penalty though 🎯 • Ngumoha’s strength has improved SO much. He’s going one-v-one against strong defenders and actually winning those battles now. Still switches off defensively at times though 😭 • Araújo and Van Dijk have both been incredible in the air. That makes us so dominant from the back, and I really like Gomez as the RB in this setup 🧱 • Nyoni has probably been the best midfielder on the pitch so far. Gravenberch was really poor for the penalty and hasn’t imposed himself on the game enough 👀 Big firepower to come off the bench in the second half too. Hopefully that’s enough to take the game away from Chelsea 👀🔥
