Accessibility matters. That's why we've introduced hearing devices for our worship services.
It's another step on our journey towards being a church where everyone is welcomed, valued, and able to take part.

We've been contacted about a bike found abandoned in Walthamstow – if you recognise it, it's being held at Edmonton police station. See image for more details ⬇️
ALT A green bicycle
ALT Bike found in Walthamstow a few weeks ago - make appears to be Giant but various other brand names on various components (owner will be able to quote these). Badly repainted green but underlying colour appears to be grey. Taken to Edmonton Police Stn, but the period of time they'll hold it for is about to expire, so hurry if you think it might be yours! The phone number the police gave me for Edmonton is 0208 960 8238; if phoning them, ask to be put through to the lost & found property section.

Help those who need our help by only using 999 in an emergency. If you dial 999 and it's not an emergency, you may be transferred to our non-emergency line or be asked to report online at spkl.io/60187rFiQ or via Live Chat: spkl.io/60197rFiv
#ThinkBeforeYouDial
ALT Please only use 999 in a real emergency:\n- someone is in immediate danger \n- someone, or their property has been seriously harmed\n- a crime is happening, or has been committed and the suspects are nearby, for example if you have just been subject to a robbery or burglary \n- a road traffic collision where life is at risk or the road is blocked

Your StreetLink alert helps local outreach teams try to locate the individual. The more accurate the location and description, the greater the chance they'll be able to find them and offer support.
Next: What happens when they make contact?

Beyond belief that @HackneyGreens’ consultation over their performative move to de-twin with Haifa ends on (yes, you read it right) 7th October - three years since the horrific Hamas terrorist attacks.
I’ll be raising a formal complaint on this shocking, insensitive move.

☀️ Hot weather can be dangerous for people sleeping rough.
If you’re worried about someone sleeping outside in the heat, send an alert to StreetLink so outreach teams can check on their welfare and offer support where available.

On Wednesday night, I believe the early hours of Thursday, one of my cat sitters had her bike stolen from Neville Road, Stoke Newington. She blames herself as she did not lock it because it was just after 1 am and she going to be in and out in minutes. A friend called her in a panic because she could see via pet camera in the kitchen, the cat auto feeder did not open and being the kind person Sally is, she went over to sort things out.
When she came out minutes later, her bike was gone. Police are aware and also have footage. Anyone recognises this thief? #StokeNewington #Hackney
