Nothing says "we heard the message and ignored it" quite like naming a white nationalist as chief of staff.

People have no idea that if they develop a long term health issue such as long covid, finding a doctor who can help will be almost impossible. The best thing to do is try to stay healthy.

When I had gallstone symptoms, I didn’t go to the doctor until I figured it out first by myself. As a woman, I didn’t want to be gaslit into thinking it was all in my head.

I have all of the top 7 Sjogrens symptoms AND a positive ANA test. Why do I still need to plead with doctors to help me? It really couldn’t be more obvious.

I don’t think that insensitive doctors have any idea how much damage they do to the mental health of patients. I had one this morning who smirked all the way through telling me that she didn’t SEE anything wrong and can’t help me. At least say it with a straight fucking face!

By mid-2022, @AbdulElSayed was claiming that covid was over! How can otherwise intelligent folks be so stupid regarding covid?? It is 2026 and it is still not over. “Even after the pandemic, we don’t know what Covid holds for us. But we should be prepared.”

People aware of the health benefits of masking deserve an apology. We don't deserve judgment or mocking for wanting to stay healthy, @jonstewart. Same goes for @andersoncooper. There's nothing freakish about not wanting a virus, even if you think you'd be able to shake it off.

You should be violently angry at the plastics industry
Major chemical companies knew plastic particles could infiltrate human tissue and remained silent for decades as they accumulated in our bodies, according to a Stanford epidemiologist who reviewed internal industry memos obtained by The Times. Read the full story latimes.com/environment/stor…

The GOP is in trouble because they decided they would be a cult and not a political party.

How can any American vote Republican at this point???? They must really love pedophilia, oligarchy, fascism, homophobia, and misogyny.

So we’re acknowledging some things now. Cool. Let’s acknowledge that it’s still here. Let’s acknowledge that we’re doing nothing to stop repeat infections and we’re still burying first-wavers and guaranteeing everyone develops persistent chronic infection, including children.
Covid constitutes the largest mass disabling event in the United States since the Americans with Disabilities Act became law in 1990. Now, the Trump administration’s anti-worker and anti-disability turn has created a climate of fear and difficulty around Long Covid accommodations. motherjones.com/politics/202…

We are having civic elections in Winnipeg today and I’d like to say that I am voting for the school trustee who cares about infection mitigation in schools but there are none. I will vote for the candidate who has experience in disability, LGBTQ2S+ and indigenous issues.

Thank you for your dedication to clean air!
- PRESS RELEASE - Upper Air UV Pilot Project in Canadian Hospitals “Allowing 10% of our patients to get infected is unsustainable,” said Hunt. “The cost is simply too high. Billions of dollars are spent on treatment, and many billions more are lost to the inefficiency of blocked beds.” accessnewswire.com/newsroom/…

I overheard a couple of people talking at a store and they were saying how they don’t get vaccinated for covid or flu anymore because they hardly get sick - but that when they do get sick they get REALLY REALLY sick.

Totally absurd. Masking is the best thing one can do when travelling. Shame on you @washingtonpost

Important for active MDs advocating against crumbling healthcare system (in AB and other places). Please, don’t disregard hospital acquired infections. Yes, it’s only one of the problems. But that’s the one you have the agency to fix. 👇
"ICU-acquired infection was the primary driver of increased ICU LOS and hospital costs."
