Two acting jobs self-tape requests in today - taking me back to the days where acting was my bread & butter.
Both fairly straightforward, now surrendered to the fates... As ever, we live in hope tempered by experience.

Learning lines today (for a big upcoming presentation) with my headphones on - with noise cancelling on, to drown out the sheer racket of the builders, plasterers and plumber who have taken over the downstairs.

Tax admin 👎 Noisey builders downstairs 👎
But...
4 new gigs confirmed today (1 a BIG gig), plus a possible overseas trip next year, & passing work to mates 👍
Mad day of contrasts, but 20+ years in and the highs still beat the lows.

Having lost several days getting up to speed on the new government-mandated Making Tax Digital and Xero, I am precisely none the wiser, and hate the whole thing.
There's a special place in hell for the bright sparks behind this.
What a pointless waste of time.

Spent the day with my Voiceover hat on, working with my friends at #MillstreamProductions.
The project itself held a particular personal interest: I will now be the voice of my (adopted) home town, Worthing, for something very exciting coming soon.

Pleased to end another day with ANOTHER confirmed booking, once again with #RedCactusEvents for more #teambuilding fun.
I first worked for Red Cactus on a gig at the i360 in Brighton in summer. So it's great to be invited back!

Pleased to confirm another job with Clearwater Events - but my lips are sealed on details, except to say it's another very cool, very BIG event!

AMAZING feedback from MCing the @busybeesuk #CDCon2026 & #Awards at #MKArena on Friday:
“Christophe was an absolute joy to work with. Calm, polished and completely in control, he brought warmth, humour and a real sense of occasion to our Busy Bees conference and awards... " 1/3
"His preparation & close collaboration with production helped make the whole event feel effortless. A complete natural on stage and a wonderful member of the team. I would work with him again in a heartbeat.”
— Stephen Morton Prior, Project Director & CEO, #ClearwaterEvents 2/3
This was my first event with Stephen & Busy Bees, and I'm humbled my efforts went down so well!
On every level, it was brilliant - well done everyone.

Final prep for Friday's BIG MCing gig.
Can't say much except I'm driving to the venue tomorrow, then a double rehearsal for the daytime event, then a black tie shindig to follow.

Setting up for today's commercial shoot for Prostate Cancer UK - and here's the proof!
Always tricky to know what can and can't be shared, but this one should be fine. 😜
Great to be shooting with the team again

Another productive day & another nice end to a week: confirming a voiceover with Millstream Productions.
I cant say too much, but it's one of those lovely public-facing projects I really enjoy & the end result will be fab.

Pleased to say I've confirmed Monday's commercial.
Best of all, it's for one of my favourite charities, Prostate Cancer UK - my 5th shoot with them. 😀
