Hey Jake! We noticed the squad & lethality-based Overrides were accelerating the time-to-elimination and the overall feeling of sweatiness, especially in combination with other Overrides. Our intent is to slow this down so fights feel fairer and prevent 'snowballing' matches, and we're closely evaluating the results alongside other changes. We've got more absurd Overrides dropping in v42.10, like Prop Hunt and Big Head!

What do you think of Fortnite increasing the spawn rate of match overrides but also disabling some of the more powerful ones? I think they clearly wanted more overrides to happen but didnt want every match to turn into increased headshot damage + increased fire rate at the same time

Maybe it’s just my algorithm but it doesn’t seem like a single person this season is enjoying the current matchmaking. I’m continuously trying to push for how things used to be before ch 7, because it really blows my mind how the ques are 3-4 minutes after they combined servers. They’re really ramping up the sbmm and it’s just making more and more people less excited to get on and play. 😔
