There's no way that people ACTUALLY thing the salvageable thing about Magic is the resource system, right? The resource system in Magic is the TEXTBOOK, SQUARE ONE thing that other games look at and go "How can we improve upon this to remove it from our game?" There are PLENTY of things to look at Magic for and to go, "Aw, man. This game is sick because of ___ that doesn't convert well in other games" BUT THE RESOURCE SYSTEM? C'mon bro.
