Tmw, 36 governorships are on the ballot. In Sept, EAD authors Greg Love, @RyanECarlin1 & @MattSingerPOLS registered fundamentals forecasts for all 36 built on approval measured a full year out, no polls, no candidates. How does it stack up against Sabato's Crystal Ball today? 🧵

What’s the matter with Lee Jae Myung? 🇰🇷 His popularity peaked at 67.5% in April 2026, then fell to 41.3% by October. Our new Substack examines the election failures, cabinet turmoil, and housing pressure that unfolded alongside the decline. @ExecApproval #SouthKorean
Presenting work from the EAP at @CIDE_MX and holding an official stakeholder meeting Riviera del Sol. Thx for the invite @yogerardomh & Aldo Ponce!
Fairly normal dynamics here despite high polarization!
Replying to @Pollitik_Lab
@Pollitik_Lab Jair Bolsonaro and Lula sit on opposite sides of Brazilian politics, yet their approval followed the same arc: a peak, a drop of more than 20 points, and a partial recovery. Lula won the Oct 25 runoff with 51.8% of valid votes.

Could not be more grateful to @ecalvo68 for this review of Incumbency Bias in RLOP. Love how he puts it: bias, positive or negative, is not a pathology but what accountability produces when expectations outrun capacity.
