Full Time 8-2 Loss Huge effort to the boys who never stopped running today. Kaden with both goals, and we move onto Reading Hc tomorrow. Before we sign off for the day just needed to plug one thing. #KadenDrayseyGoldenStick

Goal It’s the 4th quarter now btw Wimbledon HC 8-2 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

Kaden scored again. It’s getting a little bit silly. Sam Hooper count your days as the best dragflicker in the country. Wimbledon HC 7-2 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

Exeter Short corner again @swsportsnews

Goal Wish they hadn’t ended up showing us that short corner. Sam Hooper respecting his Alma mater by not firing his 114kph dragflicks at the defense. However Wimbledons routines seem to be working a treat in soggy London. Wimbledon HC 7-1 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

Trying to watch the short corner…

Goal I was too busy writing out the last tweet to see what happened. Wimbledon HC 6-1 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

DEATH TAXES DRAYSEY Bring us that Golden Stick Wimbledon HC 5-1 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

WE HAVE A SHORT CORNER

Robbed, umpire blows for a foot as the ball is flying into the net. If it wasn’t for the umpires Exeter would be 6-5 up ;) In all seriousness great start to the second half here. And the umpires have been doing a great job. (Please don’t fine us England Hockey) @swsportsnews

Second half underway @swsportsnews

Goal Short corner from Wimbledon again. Jimmy makes a cracking first save but rebounds yet again an issue. Wimbledon HC 5-0 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

Super close from Exeter after Kayden takes down an aerial after leaping to grab it. Then whips out some 3d skills and finds a man 4 yards out from the goal who just narrowly misses the target. Promising signs, Come on you Greens !! Wimbledon HC 4-0 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

Goal Jimmy makes the first save but the ball fortuitously falls to a free Wimbledon player. Wimbledon HC 4-0 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

Goal Man free on the back post nudges it into the open goal. Wimbledon HC 3-0 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

First Quarter comes to a close with Exeter wishing the whistle hadn’t gone quite so soon, having really found their footing in the last 5. Unfortunate to be 2-0 down after 2 messy short corners. Wimbledon HC 2-0 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

Exeter with their first period of sustained pressure resulting in a few D entries for the good lads. But Wimbledon seem to be comfortable absorbing pressure and manage to escape unscathed. Wimbledon HC 2-0 Exeter Uni @swsportsnews

Exeter find themselves 2-0 down early doors, with Wimbledon continuing to pile on the pressure. A few chances to escape the onslaught but it is absolutely chucking it down in Wimbledon so the ball is moving slowly today. @swsportsnews
