Picked up a cheap S&D Models Andrew Barclay E class off eBay and been doing it up taking inspiration from the two based at RAF Calshot (No.1 thankfully preserved at the Talyllyn) Not a bad job so far, but I really don't like the Mehano chassis it's waaaaay too chunky xD

As you can see he's thrilled with his new toy.

InDuncstrial Action 💥 Picked up a second hand S&D models Andrew Barclay on a RTR chassis fairly cheap and started turning it into a take on Duncan prior to coming to the Skarloey. I'm taking inspiration from Douglas during her RAF days at Calshot.

Does anyone have photos of Awdry's MK1 Annie and Clarabel from the left/the operator's side when on the layout? I'm trying to establish if they had battery boxes on both sides or just the right/the side seen by the audience.

Annie and Clarabelle have been away in Alton having their underframe fixings sorted. These are metal wagon chassiss salvaged from 2 playworn Dapol o gauge bogie wagons. They're held to the coach bodies with bolts so they can be removed for modification and paint.

It's been a while since I made one of these... ☕🫖

This cheeky chappy is really coming together. Don't suppose anyone has/knows of a model for his snowplough that would be suitable for printing in o gauge?
